We stayed at this hotel twice in July 2017 (on our way to and back from the islands). For us it's a perfect combination of laid-back elegance. The service was extremely friendly (as we found throughout Greece) and attentive, without being disruptive. The view from...More
This was our 3rd and 4th visits to GB. It's a special, beautiful hotel. We stayed twice this trip - both before and after Santorini. The hotel was sold out and our initial room was on the 1st floor. We asked for another room and...More
This is not a 5 star hotel. The food is ok but overpriced compared to what I was getting at the local restaurants. For those prices I expect more. It is a nice looking hotel but just because you call it "Luxury Collection" does not...More

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,

bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Dear Guest, the Airport is approximately 45 minutes from the Hotel by car. May we also inform you that there are plenty of taxis waiting at the Airport with a cost of 38 Euro. Also, the Metro runs every 30min to Syntagma square where the hotel is located with a cost of 8 Euro. Alternatively, the public Bus X95 runs every 20 min to Syntagma with a cost of 5 Euro.
Plaka area is approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the Hotel. In general, the Hotel is easily accessible and on a very privileged location close to major sightseeing attractions.
Thank you!
