We stayed in apartment #3. This had a big bedroom with twin beds and a lounge with a sofa bed. We let the kids have the bedroom and we had the soft bed which we kept as a bed during our visit. The apartment came with all the facilities that we needed including tea/coffee (ground), washing up liquid, oil etc.... More

This apartment is an ideal place to stay in Athens. It is within a walkable distance to everything you would want to see in the city, but is in a more quiet, residential area that gives you a great look at local life in Athens. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Spiros was a great host and provided many... More

This apartment was such a treat! It is centrally located to all the places you would like to walk to - the Parthenon, Plaka district, the square, etc. The place itself is quite roomy - it was equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, separated bedroom and also balcony. Spiros, the gentleman we had coordinated everything with, was... More

We stayed in Studio 4 and it was perfect for a couple. It has a sofa and could easily accommodate a child but would be a bit tight for 4 people. It's on the first floor so you only need to walk up a short flight of wide stairs. The windows face away from the main street so it's very... More

Our host Spiros was just amazing from the moment we arrived, super helpful with information about the local area and Athens in general. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well equipped and the bed was big and comfortable. The location is great, close enough to not be a problem to walk to things but far enough away to be peaceful. Would... More

Loved everything about our stay at this property - it's in a quiet residential neighbourhood with plenty of bars and eateries just down the street. We had great welcome from the owner with lots of helpful tips - the service was exceptional. Easy walking distance to downtown Athens, the Akropolis and all the sights. I'm so glad we stayed here... We had a great stay at the Athens green apartments. Our host was amazing!!! Great attention to detail, making us feel very comfortable. We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room cleaned and in for an early check in. They could not do enough! Our apartment was large, great for family of 4. Only down side... More

We stayed in this apartment for 6 people. Good location, about 30 minute walk to Acropolis depending how fast you ambulate. Close to restaurants, grocery and a bakery. It has a kitchen and laundry machine is available for use. Receptionist was nice and helpful in giving us information of how to go around the city. The apartment was clean and... More

I was travelling with my big family and I found these very nice remodeled apartments downtown Athens, with all kind of combinations for the dfferent famillies. Very nice, very clean, with a perfect spot. It's too bad that it's so expenive to pay by credit card.

Staying in Pangrati

Neighbourhood Profile
Pangrati
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
