Business trip in January 17. The room was renovated and located in the 9th floor viewing the back of the hotel. This was actually better than the front rooms that have windows at Panepistimiou street including its noise and traffic 24/7. Single bed mattresses were of good quality. Bathroom was spotless, with glass at the side of the tub. Flat...

Wao!!! Was very impressive for us see how beautiful and comfortable was this hotel when we arrived to the reception area. We were treated very good and eventhough the language barrier always cause a little discomfort we did fine. The bellboy the receptionist and other personnel were very friendly. This hotel is well centralized because from there you can go...

Titania Hotel is a 4* hotel but when you enter, it does feel like a 5* hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, They speak English fluently. Though some rooms are in the midst of renovation, but it does not affect our stay at all. It is conveniently located near the Syntagma Square and is walking distance to Plaka...

This hotel could be judged scarcely a three star hotel. In the city center for huge groups of tourists who go back and forth from all the destinations, Positive things are : the lobby which is sparkling and great, the olive tree Rooftop restaurant which offers a wonderfut view of the Acropolis (the food is average-quality greek food) - Brasserie...

Hotel Titania is centrally located and easily access to all near by historical sites by walking, everything is easily available down to the hotel. Rooms are spacious. There is an open terrace restaurant and one can see the beautiful night view of Acropolis Parthenon. We had CP package in Titania, buffet breakfast was okay.

I slept there 3 times and I 've got to say that my experience was awful. Except from the breakfast the hotel was inadequate. I would NOT recommend it to you if you want to have a good time in Athens , there are surely better hotels for sleeping

Nice hotel on a good location. Walking distance from all the major historic attractions and down town restaurants. Very nice roof top restaurant at the hotel with a splendid view over Acropolis. Some construction work at the hotel made some terrible noise, even on Saturday and Sunday, but of course good that the hotel is renovating.

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
