This hotel looks good from the outside and lobby but the rooms need a remodeling. The carpet and draperies are old. I could feel the bed springs in my mattress and the pillows were thin. I had a room on the first floor - which is really the second floor - on the end and I had a private balcony...

We stayed 3 nights at three 7th floor executive suite, a must for Athens in comfort and practicality. The room is spacious airy well lit and homey. We highly recommend this room for business persons, couples or even family of 3.

The Golden Age is conveniently located 2 stops from Syntagma square and on the blue metro line to/from the Airport. Small, but comfortable room; good breakfast; friendly staff; air condition can be controlled in the room (not the case with several other hotels I have visited in Athens). Our room had a little balcony looking over the street.

Stayed here twice at the beginning and end of a tour. A double bed we had was lumpy but the twin beds were ok--your standard European firm. The shower temps were hard to regulate and the temperature control was either "winter" or "summer". We would hang up our towels to use again but got new ones anyway. It's a few...

Upon check in, the front desk was very customer oriented. Our room was very clean and the food at the hotel was excellent. And thank you housekeeping for bring extra chocolates to our room!!!!!! I would take a taxi to hotel from airport. It's faster and easy instead of metro.

We were exhausted after 8 days of traveling with heavy walking/climbing. Stayed in Alassia hotel which was a disappointment. We switched and it was the best choice we could have made. Staff does everything they can to make your stay comfortable without being pushy. Great shower, modern bathroom. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast with good options. Staff is highly attentive and helpful....

I stayed in Golden Age overnight while I stopped in Athens in transit. Overall, a very nice hotel. Location - in the city, 5 minutes walk from Megaro Mousikis. About an hour from the airport. You can get there by taxi (approx. €50), public bus X95 (€6) or metro (€10). Piraeus port is about 45 minutes away by bus or...

We stayed at this hotel both at the beginning and end of our tour and could not fault it. On the first night after travelling we ordered room service and both the food and the prices were excellent. Breakfast each day was extremely good with a huge choice of foods, both hot, cold, fruits and meats. Our room was modern,...
