This was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. A great view of the Parthenon from the roof top bar. Good breakfast. All the main attractions within a 20 minute walk. Easy to get to from the airport as the metro stop is only 2 minutes walk away. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the area as well.

My sister and I have just returned to Ireland after staying in the Attalos Hotel for 5 nights. We had a fantastic time, the staff here were wonderful, helpful, kind and informative. The location couldn't have been better, very central to everything, rooms spotless, breakfast nourishing and nurturing and the rooftop bar was a great asset to relax and view this beautiful City by night, couldn't have been better. Thank you so much.

I was apprehensive to stay here with a family of 4 - it was beyond comfortable, clean and staff is very kind. Stayed here twice and went to Nafplio in between. We did laundry here and front desk was helpful with this and walking directions to any place we asked. I couldn’t have stayed at a better place and my 2 boys feel the same. We would return to Athens just to stay here - so much value for your money and they welcome you like family. Thank you Attalos

Very well located hotel. Close to historic sites, dining options, etc. Nice people. Very good breakfast. The top floor has a bar with a magnificent view. Our room had a balcony with partial view. Room price was very reasonable. A small lobby and questionable luggage check process keep the rating down a bit.

Ultra pleasant experience. Calm, comfortable, safe, clean hotel. Above all, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies. Delicious breakfast buffet. In walking distance of Acropolis, of all the cool neighborhoods, and of direct metro lines to airport and Piraeus. Highly recommended .

Very well located near Monastiraki square. A grocery store is also near by. Hotel room is very clean and offers to keep your luggage safely if the room is not ready. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are standard European size with a small fridge and offering of free water bottle. Breakfast is plentiful with hot and cold options.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Attalos Hotel. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a balcony view of the Acropolis. The room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was good. The hotel is very centrally located with The Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, Plaka, Psiri and Syntagma Square all within easy walking distance. It was lovely sitting in the roof garden at night looking right across at the amazing view of floodlit Acropolis. The area is alive with people in this vibrant bustling city. Loved it!
