Adams Hotel is in a perfect location in Plaka. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help out when needed. We left for an early morning ferry, and they had breakfast waiting for us at 5:30am. One of the staff members, Mike, was...More
Very nice, good value hotel in a great location as the other reviewers have said - clean, roof terrace and balcony (in room 305) with view of the acropolis. The staff were really very kind and lovely, and had bought in a gluten free breakfast...More
I stayed for just one night, but I wish I had the time to stay more. This hotel is excellent both regarding the location, but also because of the quite neighborhood. It is located at a walking distance from both Acropolis and Syntagma Metro Stations,...More
Lovely little hotel in superb location in Plaka. Room small, but with huge roof terrace, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, aircon, view up to acropolis. Basic but decent selection of food for breakfast. Friendly staff
My fiancé and I stayed here for one nigh after arriving in Athens. I called the staff quite a few times asking for help on how to get to the hotel from the airport. The staff was very helpful and patient with me which I...More
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
