Very centrally located along a street with many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Acropolis and most attractions and also to Syntagma Square. Friendly staff, strong wifi and even has a kitchen for guest to use. Even though this hotel doesn't have a lift for guest, but it has a lift for our luggage so that we don't have to...

Hotel Tempi is a very good hotel, with an excellent location to all of the local attractions and the local food. The staff are very friendly and have helped us with any questions as well as going out of their way to help out with our luggage etc. The reception is 24/7 which means there is always someone that can...

+ Very good position, cleanliness was okay, they even have an elevator for your luggages, a plus, in my opinion. - The bathroom was way too small, one couldn´t have a proper shower, and nobody was around to ask.

The hotel location is very very good. I stayed in a double room with private toilet and bathroom. Toilet and bathroom is too small. For short term travel you can stay. If you travel alone and no expectation for luxury you should stay in this hotel.

Great location within walking distance to everything, great service, friendly staff that spoke English, great views of the Parthenon from the front balconies taxi driver could not find the property, after a long flight from overseas the last thing you want to deal with is a lost cab driver, make sure you have the phone number of the property

Had booked this hotel online for a 1 night stay on our return back from Santorini. We had got the hotel confirmation and had also put in an intimation of our late arrival (1 PM) - since I thought it is better to inform in advance given that my wife is pregnant and the late night arrival. The hotel is...

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to metro station and the center. just a few minutes walk. So many restaurants, bars and cafe's and stores and also the touristic souvenir shops are in the same street or around the hotel building. But that is all. Its 5 floor hotel and there is only one small elevator for...

Staying in Monastiraki

Neighbourhood Profile
Monastiraki
Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized streets surround the remains of both the Greek and Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street peddlers vying for your attention to sell you nuts and sweets. Down beside the metro station, the official Flea Market is an unbroken row of souvenir shops until you come to antique-oriented Platia Avissinias, while Pandrossou Street on the other side of the square offers more tourist shopping. The pedestrianized street beside the Greek Agora is lined with cafés offering fine views.
