I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, breakfast included. Quite a good quality for the price offered. I stayed alone. so the room space was enough for me, despite it was small. The room was cleaned up every day. Breakfast was simple, continental. There is also a bar in a hotel where you can buy coffee, water, alcohol. Internet (Wi-fi) is available only at reception place. But the most important thing for me was the location. Lots of interesting places around, reachable by foot, such as Syntagma, shopping street, stadium, etc. Lots of shops around. I was not amazed by the hotel, still I would probably come back if I would need to stay in Athens again.…
Arrived after midnight on foot from the metro station. Very eerie in the dark, very run down area of Athens. Hotel itself complete contrast. Friendly Staff, Room reasonable for the price had paid, bathroom small but enough for one. Breakfast was reasonable but dining area small. . Reading others reviews concerning being safe outside the building, was the first time in any place had visited I took extra precautions with my belongings as a tourist.…
The hotel itself is not amazing, nor horrible. The rooms are quite small and you will have the minimum that you need. The Wi-Fi is not really good and the breakfast is a little disappointing. The personnel isn't super friendly but they're not awful either and the general mood/ambiance of the hotel isn't the greatest but let's say the hotel is fine. Not amazing, not gruesome, it's just ok. But the neighbourhood is terrible, I have to stress that. We didn't know that before our stay and a local confirmed that it was probably one of the worst neighbourhood of Athens. You'll find illegal immigrants (and only men which can be additionally scary when you're a woman), drug dealers, a lot of junkies (either passed out on the side of the road or preparing their syringe). It is not safe AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT, even in the middle of the day, it's scary to be there and you should not be there alone or be there at all. Considering this, we were quite disappointed that the personnel of the hotel never warned us about anything. Even when we (2 women in their early twenties) were heading out at 10pm, they were never benevolent and they never told us to pay attention to our environment or to always stay together. So please please please, be safe, especially if you're a (or several) women, if you're one (or 2), if you're a family or if you're young or a senior. I am not kidding you when I say that one night, two junkies were passed out right in front of the hotel and the door was closed because it was 11pm, we were terrified.…
Try to avoid booking this hotel. We had a terrible experience. On our first day we were asked to stay in a very small room (No.603) which had a 2x2 ft shower and small wash basin in a cubicle which has no room to move our arms to do a proper wash. Worst than backpacker accommodation. When challenged, the management moved to a slightly better room. On the final day of our stay there was no water at all for shower or wash. Terrible. Avoid.…
Excellent service, close distance to metro, clean and well organised accomodation services. It is one of the best choices close to downtown centre and you extremely close to one of the most significant landmarks, the National Theatre.
