Travellers' Choice
Welcome to Pan Hotel! So, what is the element that has made this 3 star city hotel of Athens operating for more than 50 years? The fact that is operated from the 3rd generation, something that effortlessly proves that tourism and hospitality run within the family, together with our friendly staff, are two of the most important aspects of our hotel that have made guests prefer us over and over again when visiting Athens. Our unique location (Syntagma Square), only adds to help you make the choice whether you are a family, a couple or a solo traveler, whether travelling for business or pleasure. The Parliament, National Garden, Panathinaic Stadium, Zappion, Plaka (old city of Athens), Monastiraki, Greek taverns, restaurants of national cuisines, Lycabetus Hill, churches of different religions, The Acropolis and Parthenon, numerous museums such as The Acropolis Museum, Archaeological Museum, The Benaki Museum, etc., central shopping areas, department stores, banks and embassies, etc. are all within walking distances from our hotel. Enjoy a walk or a swim at the beach by taking the Tram where its terminal is only 100m. from our hotel. Easily reached from the airport (El. Venizelos) or Piraeus port, as the Metro and the Airport Express Bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel.

Location is great, between Plaka area, National Garden and Parliament. The rooms are very comfortable, we had one triple room and it looked like a mini apartment. We stayed one night, but we enjoyed the experience.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed in Room 502, a Triple Room. PROS: Out of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip to Greece, Pan Hotel was by far our favorite! We were amazed when we entered our room and basically found ourselves in a 2 bedroom - 2 bath apartment. We booked a Triple Room, but the extra bedroom and additional bathroom made all the difference! Everything in the hotel was clean and modern. It was easy to tell that health and safety were a priority. From our balcony, we had a view of Syntagma Square and even witnessed a protest one night! Although our room faced Mitropoleos Street and was right next to the elevator, noise was never an issue. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted us every time we walked in. They were so kind to print our rapid COVID test results for free. The free breakfast from 7:00am-10:30am was basic but adequate. Since the buffet was closed due to COVID, you call the reception in the morning and they deliver it to your room. Towels were changed and toiletries were replenished upon request. The air conditioning was strong and fast to turn on - the best we have experienced in all of Greece! The wifi worked well, too. Finally, the location was exceptionally convenient. Everything was within walking distance, including the Acropolis, the Athens Central Market, and the X95 bus to the airport. CONS: The elevator is very small. We fit as a group of 3, but it was a tight squeeze. If you have luggage, only 1 person can fit at a time.

Dear JVBC, A great thank you(!!) from all of us here in Pan Hotel for this amazing review! We are happy to read that not only your have enjoyed your stay but was also your favorite from your trip to Greece! What an honor! We really do hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again in our hotel and maybe be able, should the whole COVID thing is behind us, to experience a normal stay with our buffet breakfast, all our amenities in the room, and the daily cleaning and change of towels and toiletries to be without request, as these are due to certain protocols for the pandemic! Until then, take care and have a great time! Best regards, Panagiotopoulou Ioanna Sales Manager Pan Hotel Athens

The Hotel is well located in Athens, the rooms are renovated however we didn't have light in the bathroom and they couldn't fix it. Under the bed was very dirty with insects that were dead. The AC is very old and makes a lot of noise. We couldn't sleep all night. We don't recommend even if it's cheep
