The hotel itself is OK, offering basic standard for little money. The rooms are clean, with TV, fridge and a hair-dryer included in the price. Free Internet is a big advantage. Breakfast is very monotonous, every day we had cheese, ham, boiled eggs, marmelade, honey, cereal, milk, tea, coffee, some cake, tinned fruit. We were craving for something hot for...

As a solo female traveller I was placed in a room next to the local knocking shop. The hotel cannot have been ignorant of this fact, as "visitors" travelled up and down in the very noisy lift all night long, and the pimp played loud music in the stairwell. I thought I was getting value for money as the Omonoia...

Run by two very friendly guys. Clean, inexpensive and free internet use for guests. The room rate includes a buffet breakfast between 0700 and 0930. Great views of Athens from the 8th floor roof. Yesterday I watched the sunset from up there and shortly after the sun had set, the lights of Acropolis came on. I have no hesitation in...

Arrived at Pergamos Hotel (booked on web) after very early flight from London so very tired. Got cab from Omonia Sq. - cost 5 euros. [BEWARE of cab scam though - they can try and charge 20.] Hotel being renovated - strong paint smell - so we got sent to the Moka "our other 3 * hotel." Receptionist / manager...

I stayed in Pergamos Hotel in February 2010. I have chosen this one because of price - 30€/night for twin room with breakfast included. Location is quite good. It's close to the metro station and all places that are worth visiting in Athens. It's close to Omonia and neighbourhood isn't perfect especially at night. However if you use main streets...

I loved my room (double bed ) with amazing terrace on sixth floor. Central location makes everything very close. I have spend two lovely nights alone in Athens in my double bed incl breakfast for absolutely good price. Service in English was perfect as well. :)

This is a very cheap and decent hotel. Very good value. The best is a fast connection to the net, with wifi in the room. I was travelling alone, and the room size was more than enough for me, with a queen bed, small desk, chair, bedside table, small armchair, balcony. Bathroom is very clean, hot water at any time,...

If you are looking for a good base for exploring Athens, we would recommend this hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff, moved us to a quieter room away from the noise of the lift, no problem. Room was a good size, comfortable bed, reasonable size bathroom. Very clean. Staff were very helpful with suggestions for sightseeing/travelling and general information on...

The hotel was a great deal. Close to the metro and three or four places to eat right outside the door. If you are taking a long distance bus to delphi or corinth the #24 bus runs right outside. This bus will take you to the bus terminal directly. There are several tables/chairs on the roof with a good view...
