Centrotel has clean and comfortable rooms. It's reasonably priced and conveniently located, close to subway and railway stations. And the rooms are quiet at night. There's free indoor parking for guests. Staff are friendly and professional. In a word, excellent!

Thanks to the complimentary reviews on Tripadvisor we stayed three nights at the Centrotel and were really impressed with the quality and excellent value. True, the area is not upmarket, and the there are no good restaurants nearby, but otherwise the hotel cannot be faulted. Do try the suoerb breakfast - really good value for 10 Euros. You won't need...

Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our 2 week trip through Greece. The hotel is a little hard to find, tucked away on a side street but the facilities, and staff are fantastic. We arrived in the wee hours after getting off at the wrong train station but were met by the friendly receptionist who answered our questions and...

Definite thumbs up on all accounts for this hotel. 5 minute walk from Victoria Metro station and likewise from Larissa Train Station. Immaculately clean; large rooms with great air con; very modern; spa bath; satellite tv; fridge etc. 1 minute walk from the local supermarket. 30 mins walk to Monastariki (all the sights) - but would suggest taking the metro...

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel as the base for Athens sightseeing. We picked this hotel based on the tripadvisor reviews and the experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel facilities and room are very clean and the room and the bathroom was very comfortable. There is an underground parking space which is well kept and you get to appreaciate...

Thank goodness for the Centrotel! We were not enamored with Athens, but this hotel made up for it. The hotel is modern, clean, and just a 5 min walk to Victoria station, which can put you at the Acropolis in 2 stops. We stayed at this hotel at the end of our trip and liked the location much more than...

...in a working-class neighborhood that will be a letdown for some travelers (for us, it was different in a non-scary way). We stayed on the top floor, amongst the forest of TV antennas on the roofs around the hotel. The balcony doors and shutters were adequate against the noise from the street. We loved our room: it was well-appointed, spacious,...

I'm glad we chose to stay at the Centrotel! It is located at a convenient walking distance from Victoria Metro station (Green line). My wife and I went through reviews of a lot of other hotels on Tripadvisor and location/neighbourhood was one of our main concerns. The hotel is located in a good neighbourhood, and is within walking distance of...

I had expected a budget hotel in a busy part of Athens, but not quite like this. The hotel itself is gorgeous - beautiful, modern (though small) rooms with a nice bathroom, a great-looking lobby and very clean. The hotel has free wifi-fi and the daytime manager was delightful. But the praise stops here. While the rooms looked gorgeous, they...
