Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here with my parents for one night two days ago and had a horrible experience as the room was full of mosquitoes which kept buzzing in my ears all night and wouldn’t let me sleep. I immediately complained to reception and the receptionist said he couldn’t do anything and I should use the anti-mosquito plug which I had in my room. I did use this and nothing happened, the next day my parents and I, all three returned home full of mosquito bites (as you can see in the pictures), which are very itchy. I then asked for free breakfast to compensate for the lack of sleep and horrible experience at the hotel, however, they charged me for it. Do NOT stay here at any cost!

I stay at the Triton with my husband and I was very disappointed with the attitude of the Hotel. We arranged that I would pay the bill when I left the hotel, my husband was stopped from leaving the hotel, unless he paid. This was very distressing for us as we are customers for years, we will never come back again, I have always wanted to go to another hotel and my husband always wanted to be loyal. I think there should be more communication between the day and night staff

I was here on my way thru to Spetses Island. The hotel was simpel but nice and clean. Location is perfect since its only 5 minutes walk from the ferries. The room was small (single bed) but was sufficient, good bed, good shower & AC. Breakfast was good! English & continental style was served. All this for €69, inclusief breakfast

Practical location before or after a ferry ride. Clean. Affordable. None of these aspects makes it a boutique hotel, though, which it claims to be. The only boutique aspects were truly good shampoo, nice towels and a retro elevator… if you leave even halfway early, get breakfast at the hotel - the neighboring restaurant that advertizes breakfast was not open yet when I left at around 7.30.

Our third stay and once again only good things to report. It’s clean, comfortable and super convenient for the ferries. Add to that extra touches such sweet treats and minis of wine in the room (which we enjoyed on our balcony while watching the sunset), friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice. A boutique hotel experience for a bargain price.

Lovely staff, great location and excellent value for money. We arrived late in the evening but were warmly welcomed and given a perfect family room with 2 separate rooms. The traditional Greek bar around the corner was still open so we could get something to eat and drink and had just a short walk to the ferry the following morning. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Stayed at Triton Hotel for 1 night in June before taking ferry to Sifnos next day. I arrived late at the hotel after a late flight into Athens and transfer to the hotel, there was a friendly receptionist to greet me and hand me my keys for the room. Triton says on its website it calls itself a bouquet, upmarket hotel which I did not find and I don’t think this description fits the hotel. The hotel is a bit dated, my room was small but it was clean, bed was comfortable and all appliances worked well. It is a good hotel if your on a budget and I paid a budget price for it and very convenient for ferries most of which depart only a few minutes walk away. Don’t think your going to get luxury for a budget price, I’d look elsewhere if your thinking of a longer stay and more upmarket hotel.

We stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Sifnos. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal and there are lots of tavernas nearby. Our room was clean and had a pleasant balcony. We were on one of the upper floors but friends said the lower floors were very noisy with young guests making a lot of noise. Breakfast was very acceptable with a good choice.

There were mosquito’s in the room. The room is so small that you can’t walk, forget about being comfortable I felt really clostophobic and stuffy. The ac was not working. The moment I came in the open air outside the hotel I felt better.
