Visited June 2017. Caught the boat from beautiful Plaka which cost €8 each and took 7 mins. Admission to the island is also €8. Very emotional place for anyone interested in the history or if you have read the book "the island". Stunning views. Very...More

Having read Victoria Hislop's book The Island this was a must visit place for me on Crete. We hired a car and drove to Plaka where we paid 8 euros each for the crossing to Spinalonga then another 8 euros each to enter the island....More
