We stayed here during our wedding week and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Not only was it a beautiful place to stay as newlyweds, but it also made for a great place to gather guests during the wedding week and a lovely bridal suite to get ready the morning of the wedding. I debated so much about where to stay in Crete and ultimately decided here because of location to the many surrounding activities we wanted to do. Wow, did this hotel exceed every expectation and become much more than a resting place. The rooms are massive, each with unique, compelling features and unforgettable views of the buzzing city and lighthouse. We often sat in the window seating area watching sunsets and the sea below. The staff was super friendly and the attention to the room from the service staff was perfection. They took service and cleaning very seriously. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire honeymoon in Greece. All of their dishes were excellent. My only criticism is the parking situation. It was quite scary trying to get by all the cars lining the tiny street. We had to fold the side mirrors in each time and were inches from hitting cars/curbs on both sides coming in/out. I recognize that is a common issue driving in Europe though. We absolutely loved Chania and would love to visit this hotel again one day. So happy I stumbled across this gem. We had a wonderful stay in Crete at this hotel. Our room was huge (and I think it was the smallest this hotel offers!). We had an amazing view of the harbor in Old Town. The bed was so comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. We had to have been the most annoying guests - we emailed them very often, especially because we had a ton of last minute changes due to flight cancellations, etc. They handled everything flawlessly for us! The breakfast delivery was great, too. Our second day we had to leave at 530a so they got us a "to-go" option the night before. I also left something behind and they were able to mail it to our next destination. This was our favorite hotel we stayed at in Greece - we only wish we could have stayed longer!

The most amazing small boutique hotel/B&B. We stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids and this definitely ranks as one of the best, most spectacular places we've ever stayed at. Right in the heart of Old Town Chania with breathtaking views of the harbor and promenade. We would sit by the window and watch the boats go out and people go by for hours. The beds were so comfortable and the layout of the suite with 2 full bathrooms was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the décor and getting served breakfast in our room every morning. Can't say enough good things about this place. Don't hesitate to book if you're thinking about it. You won't be disappointed!

My family of 4 traveled to Crete last summer and we stayed at the amazing Residenza Vranas Boutique Hotel located in the heart of Chania. Location, location and location as anything and everything that you needed was within minutes of walking distance. All rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable bedding and amazing views of the ocean and lighthouse. It is a family owned and operated hotel and both George the Dad and George the Son were amazing hosts, everything from their welcome basket, island transfers, recommended excursions and of course food as every restaurant reservation was fabulous. The staff/concierge service exceeded all expectation and it was like having a family member on the island!!!

The place lacks basic safety features. The stairs are steep and have no handrail. There is no elevator and you have to carry the suitcases on your own! The bathroom floors are slippery when wet. The showers do not have anti-slip floor. I slipped and fell the first time i took a shower.

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the room on the second floor with no pool or balcony. The room was amazing. The bed was comfy, and the view of the harbor was truly stunning. There were delicious desserts and chilled wine waiting for us when we arrived, and we enjoyed them while watching the sunset on our first evening at the hotel. The room was also huge, which was nice because the bed is set back very far from the window and any potential street noise. The staff were very helpful with providing (good!) recommendations and helping us rent a car. The cleaning staff was especially impressive: the room was spotless and every strewn item was folded or organized. I’ve traveled many times and I don’t know if I have ever loved a hotel more.

A beautiful hotel with great Customer service,location is wonderful,restaurants,shops everywhere.3 minute walk to breakfast held in Pallas Restaurant excellent food. Nothing was a problem,very easy to arrange car hire they come to you,Taxis/transport all easy. We stayed 3 nights in the penthouse suite. The pictures and words cannot do it justice. The hotel is only 4 suites, staffed all day and night by your own concierge who will do or arrange anything you request. Service is superb. They offer private free parking as close to the harbour as you can get. Your room includes a beautiful breakfast at a nearby high end restaurant. The location is ideal in the middle of the Venetian port directly on the sea wall. But most amazing of all is the view. The penthouse suite is a beautiful open concept 2 story structure with a giant jacuzzi tub and the space is wrapped in windows. It has 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. This suite has a generous rooftop patio large enough for a dining table, club chairs and cantilever umbrella. One could easily spend their entire vacation on this patio, staring at the blue sea and Venetian lighthouse, while watching people on the lively bustling sea wall below. I simply cannot convey how spectacular the views are. The air conditioning was excellent which is very important on hot days. I have stayed at many luxury hotels in my lifetime. Absolutely amazing stay! Beautiful rooms - massive space and individually styled. Views breathtaking, real wow. Very unique and special place would really love to return.
