beautiful and charming in the heart of the old town of Chania....it's got it all!! We had a gorgeous room with a beautiful view of the street below and balcony nearby where one could sit and watch the sunset! Thanks a mill...it's a gem....I'm so looking forward to coming back next year.💜

Such a lovely place. The family who run the hotel make you so welcome. The rooms are tradional immaculately clean and even with a balcony. I highly recommend this place and the owner gave us some invaluable insights on unspoilt parts of Crete to visit.

We came in June to Chania and were looking for a room for one night. We were lucky and a super cute little room with high ceilings and nice furniture was given to us. We directly felt comfortable, because it smelled nice, it was very clean and has got aircondition. We payed 40€ for one night, which was cheap in our...

I was here with a trekking group few days ago. Arrived late, found kindness and flexibility. Little cozy pension, with tons of personality. Not many frills (but free wifi) - the best you can expect from a pension. Very honest with prices. Very clean and private (never see the owner after check-in but he was there when needed). Perhaps little...

We have been staying with Natalie from Pension Nora for several years in their studio apartments. Last year they had added a delightful "wee" two story house, and this year they have added a three troy house right next door. It is three stories in the traditional Cretan style with kitchen and shower on the main floor, a sitting room...

My girlfriend and I stayed a night in Natalie's Cretan house during high season. This house is run by the same people as Pension Nora. Please note, it is another house, its in the next alley. We arrived without any reservation. Kind Greek man showed us the room in Natalies Cretan House which looked really cosy and clean. The bed was...

This is a sweet little hotel that is economical and close to all the best of Chania. It was super clean - service was personal and excellent. You get a lot of bang for your drachma here... Close to everything. And 20 euros to the airport by taxi.

We booked a little house here with its own streetside front door, a kitchenette and shower downstairs, a living and toilet on the first floor, and a bedroom and balcony on the top floor! This enabled us to an independant stay in the heart of Chania's old town, very close to the beautiful Venetian harbor and all the restaurants, bars...

Our experience was not unlike Lam1001. We booked months in advanced and although they did have a room saved for us, because we arrived on a late flight from Athens, the room was not nice. It was around the corner and down an alley from the rest of the pension and it looked like a room they had been using...

Unfortunately, our experience at Pension Nora wasn't as positive as some of the other reviews. We had booked months ago and confirmed our reservation with owner about a week before leaving home. When we arrived, the hotel was overbooked and we were moved to Kalliopi Rooms down the street instead. Our room was very small, the bathroom even smaller (the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pension Nora is a grand old building that dates back to the Venetian era. It has large sunny windows, wooden floors and high ceilings and has been decorated with woven Cretan rugs and traditional furniture. The two large balconies offer views both towards the sea and the White Mountains. An ideal location as it is just around the corner from the harbour and just a five minute walk from a safe and sandy beach. ... more   less
