All staff very professional curtious and welcoming. Arrives 16th April for a week weather wasn't the best but because the hotel as it is made the weather more bearable. Hotel situated across the road from the sea so view beautiful. We had a meal in the restaraunt food was beautiful so well done the chef. Felt a little sorry for staff as weather spoilt sitting outside to eat a little. Rooms immaculate stayed in 102, shower the best we have had in Greece and we have visited lots of Greek islands. Our room was a 1 bedroom with the biggest bed ever very comfy. Lounge with 2 sofas and a very modern kitchen. Two sets of doors onto the balcony. Rooms cleaned every day and not too early for those wanting a lie in. We would strongly reccomend a visit and very easy to get by bus or taxi to chaina harbour town just a stunning place Well done all Much deserved praise Kind regards Sarah and Mark …

We had a lovely time here. The accommodation was spotless, the staff were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The pizza was the best I’ve ever tasted. The little shop on site was very convenient to get basics such as bread & milk. Happy hour is 4-6 every day, a fantastic selection of cocktails for €5. Can’t wait to go back

Very good value for money. The staff was very polite and helpful and the lady at the front desk was a real professional. The room was spacious with sea and swimming pool view. Very close to Chania. There are some beautiful beaches near by. The location is perfect for exploring the West part of the island.

A great hotel all staff from owner to to everyone working there are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful ,food brilliant we have stayed here a few times now and will be returning again , It’s only a short bus ride into chania and other nearby towns would highly recommend

Great location, friendly helpful staff, excellent restaurant spacious room with beautiful views. Bus service to centre just outside , great beaches just a short walk away. This is a small hotel and is beautifully kept. I would highly recommend a visit.

We came to Porto Kalamaki October 2021 for our first stay in Crete. The location is perfect for exploring the West part of the island with highlights like Balos Lagoon, Samaria Gorge, Chania town and Falasarna Beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always happy to give recommendations. Special mention to Spiros with his very welcoming demeanor and Andreas who makes excellent cocktails! The pool is great, our apartment had a very nice sea view, there are some great restaurant options nearby (try Salavantes!!) and value is very good! Would definitely recommend for your stay in Crete!

My wife and I have been to Crete many times and every time on an other hotel, this time it was this one. We did not have big expectations, since it's a tree star hotel. When we arrived, there was the sweetest man to greet us and showed us to our room. The room was big and clean, and yes, it was not one of the newest rooms, but the bed is one of the best we have ever had on a hotel! The room was kept very clean the whole week, so we were delighted. The manager of the poolbar and the restaurant (the man who met us when we arrived) is one of the sweetest men we have ever met on ours trips. His wife works there allso and believe me, both of them treated us like we were royals. The atmosphere they created made us eat nearly all of our dinners there! There was so much good food to choose from and everything we ate was delicious. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Crete, this is the place to stay! We will come back to this hotel already next year!…

After a disappointing four days in an AirBnB in the village, I was delighted to move to Porto Kalamaki for my final three days in Crete to enjoy a great place, pool and location. Plus the room rates were very good value. Will very likely return.

Great appartments by the sea with excellent view either to the sea or to the nice swimming pool. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The restaurant- bar in the swimming pool offers a variety choice of local food, fruits and cocktails. Kind staff, always keen to help. Excellent atmosphere. Close to the local buses towards to the old city of Chania. Highly recommended for relaxed holidays.
