Another great destination and great hospitality from Helen and Mike. Feels like coming back to visit family. The nearby resort Is also very welcoming, with plenty of restaurants and great beaches that are very safe with proactive life guards. Crete is a wonderful island. We explored more with the car this time going into the mountains and lake kournas. Can't... More

If you're looking for a romantic escape with a private pool and a balcony with a wonderful view each of these 3 villas would be perfect. We stayed for 10 nights in June 2015 and came back completely recharged. We hired a car (which you do need to do) but apart from going to Chania we hardly used it as... More

Visiting from the UK for the second year in a row. Helen and Mike we fantastical and ever so accommodating nothing was too much trouble. The last day looked as if it might be problematic as our flight was leaving late and the cleaners needed to be in, but not trouble for Helen to move us to the 4 bedroom... More

I We hired the largest of the three villas this year to celebrate a landmark birthday and were accompanied by our three adult children, our daughter in law and two year old granddaughter. The ever helpful owners, Helen and Mike had supplied highchair, stroller and cot together with an assortment of toys for our granddaughter. We have stayed in the... More

We travel as a family a lot, so we have a reasonably sound perspective on what we want. (2 kids 10 & 7). Arriving at old fountain villas was magical, pitched on a hillside with views of the Mediterranean kissed by the moon, the arrival setting was a real treat after a long journey. The villa was beautiful and spacious.... More

Stayed here in May 2013 and we are still talking about this holiday. The villas was ideally situated for us, nestled in the hills among the olives and oranges away from the busier coast. Helen was a star with lovely touches to the villa and great for local knowledge of the best places to visit. We were just a stones... More

I had the opportunity to stay at the "Old Fountain Villas" which was one of the most incredible vacations I have experienced in my life. We had a great time at Old Fountain Villas. The villas themselves are outstanding, with balconies that provide incredible views of the Cretan landscape, pools that enable your family/friends to relax at the villa all day if you desired, and a full kitchen if you do not feel like eating out! From the villas it is just a 5-10 minute... More
