We booked a room at this boutique hotel and although we had a small room with bathroom, it worked for us. Helen was a great hostess and very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the view was spectacular! There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you into town and a major grocery store just down the...

I cannot emphasise enough what a fantastic experience I had staying at the Hotel Akrotiri. The hotel is set high up on a hillside overlooking the sea and Chania below, with incredible picture-postcard views. The rooms are clean, light and spacious. But what makes the experience of staying at this hotel that extra bit special, is the warmth, hospitality and...

I stayed for the second time at Hotel Akrotiri. Once again, the owner greeted me with a warm welcome! I was in a single bed room, since I was by myself, which was very clean and meticulously prepared for my arrival. The owners and staff are very discreet and very kind, eager to help out with anything you might need....

We had heard so much about this hotel and its proprietors. It was all true! The hospitality was amazing. The room was very nice. The constant availability of coffee and tea was wonderful. The view of the bay was incredible. "We came as guests, we left as family". Thank you very much Lena and Ilia. See you again, Katy and Peter

You cannot find a better value in Chania! At only 40 euros per night for a single, it proved the perfect base for exploring Western Crete with a rental car, as there is ample street parking in front. The three single rooms all face the beautiful garden in the back of the hotel, but the owners were kind enough to...

We stayed at the Akrotiri Hotel in Chania for three nights. The owner Lena was amazing. So kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good with fresh produce. Room was very clean. Nice view of the sea on the terrace. Highly recommended! Great value for the price.

I so much enjoyed my stay at this hotel that I will definitely be back! Lena and Ilia made us feel very much at home and welcome. When our rental car turned out to have a puncture on Easter Monday (try to find a mechanic in Greece on that day!), they helped us change the tire and then went through...

The Hotel Akrotiri is excellent. Lena and her husband are amazing, very helpfull and friendly. They have helped us to book the transfer to the Samaria Gorge and after the trip, when we arrived, as we are very tired to go dinner, they order an excellent Kebab for us. The hotel is not luxurious, in fact, the rooms are very...

We enjoy our stay at "Akrotiri" very much. From the very first time we've met Lena we felt welcomed and like arriving to our friend's home. We appreciate Lena's excellent tips which were very useful. Lena did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She did her best to help us by checking information and more. The breakfast...
