A very pleasant hotel, with friendly staff, close to Heraklion Airport, but set away from the flight path, so unaffected by aircraft noise. It's a 10 euro taxi ride to/from the terminal, but if you are feeling fit you can walk it easily in about 20 minutes. Local and national

We stayed overnight whilst here on business. Close to the airport, but no jet noise. Clean and comfortable. The standard rooms have air conditioning are of a good size and the beds comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. I would book again.

My family stayed here for 2 days because it has everything and is a 10-euro taxi to the airport. Generally we were satisfied. Room had everything expected, at least that we cared about, and the place is quiet despite proximity to airport. Easy walking distance to good

We stayed at this hotel twice over eight days after reading good reviews on various sites and because it is close to the airport and therefore handy for taking off to other parts of Crete. (Just return to the airport, right on the roundabout and you are on your way to western or

Hi. Will the swimming pool and restaurant be open between the 10th and 17th April 2019?
The hotel is open all year, so cannot think why the pool would be closed. I'm sure there will be cooked food available. However, there is a little family run taverna on the main road, 10 mins walk. Email Sofia (actual person and very friendly). She will get back to you. We love staying there and have done so for many years. Chris

Hi no free shuttle service from this hotel but it’s so easy to go down the road and get the airport bus it’s very cheap or you can walk from the hotel. Will take you about 20 minutes.

The ancient site of Knossos is well worth a visit and can be accessed from the main bus station by local bus, there are also museums, galleries and old churches that are worth a visit. The town centre of Heraklion is packed with shops and some malls just ask at your hotel reception. You will find English spoken practically everywhere and judging by the clarity of your question you should be fine. The Cretan people are warm, welcoming, cultured and very helpful so have a wonderful time!
