Before I continue I will add that we returned on Saturday which was the last day full day the hotel was open before closing for the season. It was also Crete's Winter season. This is an important note as this may be impacting upon some of my views. I traveled with my husband and 9 year old daughter. I will...

A little hard to find when you are driving if you don't know the area. Easy and smooth checking in. Staff was super nice at the front desk was awesome. The room was nice, comfortable, but not too friendly stairs. Even though room was in the fist floor. Stayed at the Agapi for one week. Just got back. Read the reviews before going and they were all correct. The hotel was very clean. We had a fourth floor room with the balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were all brilliant. It was a shame we couldn't have gone earlier in the year, because the hotel had started to...

Overall, a wonderful place for a holiday, though I was there for a small conference :) Location: Right on the beach, 15 min drive from Heraklion Airport (private taxi €25 each way), 10 min drive from Heraklion Centre (€10 taxi each way). Hotel: Nicely furnished, particularly the public areas. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and everything is kept spotlessly clean....

This was a very nice resort-type hotel. The beach is the best part (lovely, clean, great sunbeds and parasols). Super! There are three small pools, which means none is exceedingly crowded at any time. The heated one was nice, if a little cold. The resort combines Greek hotel architecture (bungalows, which is where we stayed) and the main body of...

We stayed for 5 nights which was fantastic. Lovely location, room, food was great, but the Wifi was terrible. In this day and age, most people want and need Wifi, so here, if you could get on, it would then kick you off after 5 or 10 minutes depending on the time of day. Compounding on this, they had a...

Friendly welcome, clean comfortable sea view room, good bathroom with shower. Most of the meals were good, plenty of choice. Choice of main restaurant or Taverna at lunchtime, good food in both. Evenings once a week there is an opportunity to have meals in the Italian and Taverna if you book ahead.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, great location. Also, very much enjoyed the spa, I had a very relaxing massage from a lady called Dalia, would rate the spa 5* because of her service. The food was very nice too, I would definitely return. Gabriele
