We were lucky enough to choose the Marin Dream Hotel as our place to stay in Heraklion. The staff were amazingly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. As we were traveling in the low season we were able to secure an amazing rate that included a fabulous breakfast buffet. As well we received an upgrade to a seabird room, which was spectacular....

Very nice hotel with helpful staff, we wanted to rent a car which they directed to one right around the corner, the woman was very helpful with maps and instructions. The breakfast was on the top with a view of the harbour. The breakfast is what we experienced in all the places we stayed. Great selection.

Recently spent 2 nights in this hotel. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the gentleman at the front desk came out to help us with our bags. He confirmed the rooms we had booked (a double and a triple), but as one of our travel companions didn't end up coming, we inquired about changing the triple to a...

Hello and thank you for your review! First of all, we checked your booking and we should make clear that your reservation was prepaid and non-refundable. In this case you, there was no reason for our receptionist to not wanting to move you to a cheaper room as you imply, if available. Contrariwise you were suggested to upgrade to a...

I stayed here for three nights in a single room. The room itself was small but still had room to move around and store a suitcase in the closet and was clean. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was clean and well laid out to be very functional. I also had...

The location turned out to be perfect. Right at the port and the bus station. The port for the ferry to Santorini, the bus station for our return from Chania and to the Knossos ruins. Also right at the Venitian Castle and near the pedestrian streets of downtown. The staff was very thoughtful and did everything they could to make...

The room had a view over the harbour and port. The restaurant also had the same wonderful view. Because it is a central location it isn't really suitable for sitting out on the balcony unless you like the noise of the city. The room was very comfortable indeed with air conditioning and the service also very good. All the staff...

I booked this room to be close to the airport and ferry terminal. We arrived at 5 pm and thought it too late to head anywhere. Getting to the place in our rental car was a major challenge. The small one way streets around this hotel were brutal to navigate. We had our GPS and it worked sort of. So...

We had a very nice clean room with a balcony over looking the fortress and harbor and it had a big clean bathroom. The location was better than expected, making it an easy walk to museums, the fortress, shopping, restaurants, the bus station and the ferry port. Request a room on the 4th or 5th floor with a view, we...
