Nice family hotel in the city center just across the seacoast. Room and toilet are cleaned everyday perfectly, the linen is clean and the mattress is new, protected from dirt and very comfortable. The new towels are provided on a daily basis. Although single room, it has very nice, close up view to the sea. The refrigerator is clean and at the arrival you can find 2 bottles of water for free as a form of hospitality from polite staff. Wi- Fi connection is good.
Rich breakfast is individually served because of COVID 19, and hotel respects all necessary measures. I felt very safe and happy in hotel Kronos.

This is a small family hotel with some rooms overlooking the harbour. We stayed for one night only but enjoyed the stay. The room was nice, the bathroom was on a small size and the shower was really tiny. But the view was very nice, we could see the boats and a lovely sunset. Shame it was terribly windy so we couldn't sit on the balcony all evening. They opened the breakfast early for us so we could eat before our flight which was very kind. You couldn't help yourself, they brought the food to you.

Just a wonderful experience. The staff try so hard to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are comfortable and the bed was better than I expected in an older hotel. This place is right in the heart of everything. You can walk your bags to the ferry in 18 minutes. You are right near the the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Also worth mentioning is a very hearty breakfast.

This hotel is run by warm-hearted people who care for their guests. Ideally situated very close to the city center and directly at the ocean. The room was nice and clean. The view of the ocean is amazing. And it's only a 10 minute car ride away from the airport. I recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Kronos Hotel for two nights at the end of May. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a sea view room with a stunning view of the harbour. Breakfast was included and adequate. There was also a water fountain: very useful! The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the harbour, the restaurants and the city centre and good value for money. In addition, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again! Thanks again to Nikos and his colleagues for the warm welcome!

We had a pleasant stay at kronos hotel. Everything worked as it should. Friendly staff. For breakfast, I would like a change during a week's visit, but there are several restaurants nearby that offer breakfast. Perfect location on the beach in the old town, dozens of restaurants nearby.

Only visited for one night but the staff was absolutely incredible. So warm and welcoming. We were late to breakfast but they insisted we stay and served us regardless of the kitchen being closed. Also, perfect location in prolixity to bus stops, airport, and restaurants on the water. 100% would stay again!! Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Super comfortable bed, sea view and a decent breakfast. Can’t really ask for much more. The internet was alright, could be faster but that may just be a Crete problem. Other than that, I slept really well, got a lot of work done, but couldn’t figure out how to swing the balcony door open to use the balcony. I could open the top of it though, to let fresh air in the room.

We stayed here our last night in Crete. We expected to arrive in the late afternoon, so we were not looking for anything fancy. What we got was a very clean room, with a view of the harbor, and a comfortable bed.

Reception and check out were fast and efficient.

The breakfast was adequate.

The rate was extremely low.

Hello! Thank you for contacting us. Our front desk is available 24hrs, so you may check in even late at night. If you take a taxi from the airport to our hotel, it should cost you about 14 Euros and it's a 10-minute drive. The buses from Heraklion to Chania run from 05.30 in the morning and the cost is 15,10 Euros (one way) per person. We remain at your disposal for further information or assistance. Dear Traveller, Thank you for contacting us. Our hotel is a (max.) 20-minute walk to the ferry terminal. Public transportation is rather frequent and convenient, both within the city and also between cities and villages of the island. For instance, Heraklion to Chania is a 3 hours bus ride. Buses run every hour, starting at 05.30. There are plenty of beaches around the island, many of them accessible by bus, others by car. Please check the "Cretan Beaches" website or even their mobile app for more details and suggestions about beaches: It often comes in handy even to me as a local, since you find beaches of Crete per prefecture, according to the sea water color & depth, sand type (sand, pebble etc.) and -most importantly- accessibility (bus, car, boat etc). I see you're spending four or five days on the island, so depending on what you want to focus on (e.g. stick to one prefecture and see the city, archeological sites and beaches or try to see a few things all around the island) you may need to rent a car. If so, you can search yourselves to see some prices/ offers, but we can also provide you with some suggestions, if you wish to. It's true you save some time driving long distances (e.g. Heraklion-Chania is a 3-hour bus ride, while it's 2h15min by car). If you were to spend a week or more in Crete, you could use just the buses. However, if you want to visit more places in 5 days, you could rent a car or use both; rent a car for a 2-3 days to make long drives shorter and for 1-2 days use the buses for shorter distances (that take 15-35 minutes from Heraklion). That was just a few info to start with, but please feel free to ask us more questions and details in order to plan your holiday. We remain at your disposal. Looking forward to hear from you. Dear Madam, Hello again! We do have some parking place for the cars of our guests; it's actually enough for 3 or 4 cars. In case it's full, parking is allowed on two of the 3 streets around the hotel (Mitsotaki & Monis Agkarathou). Last option is a nearby parking lot (across the street) for 4 euros per day. In any case, please contact our front desk upon your arrival to help you with parking. We will be more than willing to help you! Always at your disposal. P.S. My apologies for the delayed response, but I missed the notification for a question on Tripadvisor. :-) On behalf of Kronos Hotel Maria Tsagkaraki
