We were so impressed by this lovely hotel. It was off a main road but there was no traffic noise. The pool area was quiet and ideal for young children. We had a spacious apartment which had a bedroom with a triple size bed. It is like a Greek village with lots of lush greenery. The food was excellent - the breakfasts had so many different dishes. The hotel is a pleasant walk from a pebbly beach, which was never busy but had a lifeguard as the sea was sometimes rough.

Lovely design of the hotel. Staff, cleaners, cooks, bar tender were all amazing. The room was good. Bathroom was awful small squashed, not a place you even want to shower in. AC was amazing. Tv in room didn’t work. Morning buffet had a lot of variety but none for vegetarians. Pool area was nice and cosy, with a bar and tv screen. Spoke to staff if could leave luggage behind while we checked out, she said yes, so that was great. location was okay, had few good shops for food, supermarket was also local. Beach was local to, around 5 mins walk, Pebble beach more like. We did book this for 3 nights, but managed to just stay the 1 night, we decided to book else where for our holiday to continue..

What can I say about this small diamond we found in our vacation to Crete with my friends and family! We first meet the sweet lady Georgia- she is the owner- and she gave us beautiful big rooms with view to a pool, cool and very clean! The small gardens, where full of exotic flowers, clean and watered every day!! All corners of the hotel where stylish making the stay wonderful! What can I say about breakfast! There is no comparison with any other we had in Greece or USA. And the dinner by the pool .. OMG!! Everything we got it was so delicious and then we meet the chef, which by the way, it was the son of Mrs Charalabakis, Nick!!! About service and the guys in the pool , where also amazing, very nice, polite and professional. They offer us the best quality cocktails and wines …we are the type of guys that we enjoy discovering the island so we had not much time to stay at the busy poor, but our experience in the hotel was the best. The only problem we had it was with parking lot, always full, but even then Mrs Georgia offered a solution so for us was a great experience. I have already recommended to manny people and I would love to go back soon.

We spent 10 days at Futura hotel, in a suite with 2 bedrooms/2 badrooms and a balcony with view on the mountains (no other availability for that kind of suite) and self catering. Let’s start with the good points ; *The staff is friendly and pretty reactive. *Breakfast as well as food at the bar was really good. *The pool is nice but can get crowded if you are not there early enough. *Our « suite » was big enough for 5 and all the necessary equipment was there to cook one in a while. Let’s move to the bad ; *The view on the mountains was more like a view on the street and a big electric pole (literally 2meters away from the balcony) *The room was not cleaned when we got it as we found trash under the beds. The cleaning team was sent after feedback to the reception. *The balcony was a complete mess, broken tiles so that you could not walk barefeet without risking to cut yourself. The wood railing as well as the stairs were broken with nails sticking out of it. When adressing this issue to the staff the only answer was « it is known but we can’t modernise everything at the same time». I was not so much asking for something modern but for something safe for my kids. We had 5 wasp nests in the balcony railing and informed the hotel staff about it. Unfortunately nothing was done. This made the balcony a no go zone for our stay…such a shame when you could have a drink outside in the evening or a coffee in the morning. We asked for a late check out and were charged 40euros for it. The hotel staff could have seen there a way to compensate the few issues we had by not charging us… Had an amazing time in Crete but disappointed by the hotel as it had the potential to make our holiday when looking around, it seemed like our appartment was the only one to have these problems…)

I stayed here for 9 nights with a friend. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it, both for friends, couples, and families. This is a calm and very friendly hotel, with excellent service. The staff is super friendly and approachable. There is a large pool which was never too crowded. Also, the fact that the hotel is family run, and not super big gives it a cosy vibe. We had a great time hanging out here. Our room was very nice, clean and newly renovated with a big terrace. There was never any noise or disturbances. It was easy to get around, and close to the beach, which was never crowded. The receptionsts help you plan trips and order taxis if you ask. There is also a bus stop very close by, where you can take the bus to places such as Platanias and Chania. The food is even better than at the restaurants, so we mostly ate at the hotel. They have a great selection of greek and other food. They also serve tasty cocktails and snacks as well as a big breakfast buffet. Many of the guests were families, and they seemed to have everything they needed. Some of the other guests we talked to were regulars, which speaks to how nice the experience is. Very happy with this choice!

Dirty room and bed ,ac with extra charge, not daily cleaning. The wooman in reception was very rude, the room towels not replaced on 5 days, the toilet papers and all the excess garbage has to be replaced by yourself like an airbnb, not enough parking space, double bed room has two single beds.the only good thing was the location of our room.

Firstly, the hotel is exceptional, I had a really good time with all the people in the hotel, to mention all the names would take so long. The food out of this world as well as the service. The prices are a lot higher than Greece used to be (5.50 a bottle of beer) but they are still worth it due to the environment. Staff were polite and fun with children and adult alike. I would definitely go to this hotel and stay again, thanks all :)

Amazing destination. The staff were spot on, George was a very nice chap, can’t fault the food at all. Great menu. Definitely worth upgrading to the all inclusive packages, saves you so much money over your stay. I’m already looking to book again towards the end of summer

In Septebmber 2022 my girlfriend and I spent a week in Maleme and stayed at the Futura Hotel. We loved it. Due to a delayed bus transport from the airport we were late for our check-in, but once we found the charming matron, everything worked out. We felt instantly welcome. During the week to come we found the rest of the staff pleasant as well. Our two-room suite on the 2nd floor was tidy and spacious, with a good bathroom, a large balcony facing the pool area, AC in both rooms and a decent little kitchen. It felt like home during our stay. We enjoyed our breakfasts and evening snacks on the balcony and slept like babies in the comfortable double bed. During the windy days, when the beach was closed, the pool came in handy and we frequented the pool bar for delicious salads and refreshing drinks. There was also a gym in the basement, but it wasn't in order at the moment. The Futura Hotel may not be the right place for people with physical challenges, as there are lots of stairs everywhere and no lifts, but I can recommend it for those fit enough to climb a few steps.

The one bedroom apartment we were given (upgraded) was large and spotless with most things you need for a self catering holiday missing a toaster and teapot though, the balconies were large and the views from them was great, the lady who cleaned our room was lovely bedding changed once during our 10 day stay and clean towels every day we didn't really eat in the complex but there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance there's a large supermarket nearby and a lidl about 10min drive away the beach is within 10 min walk but stoney overall had a wonderful stay here but if you have mobility problems don't book here there are lots of stairs on the complex
