The hotel is tucked away in a quiet street in the middle of the old town. Very easy to get to shops, restaurants and the beach. The staff are truly kind and thoughtful and made our week very memorable. If we could give a 6 star review we would. Excellent service, quirky rooms and great local knowledge. A brilliant holiday and our thanks to the staff for making it so memorable.

This beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Rethymnon old town is a true gem. Many rooms are split level due the age of the building, this makes the stay more charming, there are many stairs also. With the Palazzo and Estate sides the hotel offers a Traditional Cretan Breakfast, with one cook and two servers the hotel never fails to deliver charm and exceptional service. I have been going to this hotel for over ten years and it never fails to deliver. My home from home.

Rimondi Rethymno, what a stunning and beautiful place. An oasis in the old town. We were greeted by Eleni, her beeing so kind, superfriendly and she was so dedicated for her job and made you feel so welcome and at home. The room, terrasse, garden and pools - so clean and nice. The delicate breakfast by the pool, made with love by the chefs. Sergei in the reception, always so friendly and helpful. We had lovely lunch and wine/cava in the garden, with the rest of the family. Amazing Georgia always made our day bright. Superspecial thanks to you from Moi and Roz Lagos. Thank you again Eleni and the fantastic team from all of us. This was our second visit here, its beautiful boutique hotel, nestled in a quiet street, close to shops, and excellent restaurants. Tastefully decorated, intimate and personal. Rooms are good size, some have private terraces or balconies. Two pools in separate private courtyards. The hotel spans buildings on both sides of the street. Breakfast on the western side is more pleasant being outside. The experienced and long serving staff have been exceptionally helpful, and welcoming. Useful advice on best restaurants, beaches, shops, and sites to visit. Very happy experience here, a really pretty hotel, well run, personal service and atmosphere, we would definitely make a return visit.

This hotel is an absolute gem smack in the middle of a beautiful seaside town. We stayed at Rimondi for 2 nights in August (my husband and I and our 3 kids ages 11-16.) The kids had their own beautiful room with a loft bedroom overlooking the pool (pool view suite in the Estate building), and my husband and I had a room a few stairs up that was also lovely and spacious (Executive room). Both were in the newer building which was absolutely lovely, with a picture-perfect courtyard in the middle and a pretty pool surrounded by lemon and orange trees. When we arrived, each room had a beautiful plate with an assortment of Greek pastries and dried fruit and water bottles. We had a hard time finding the place (we drove from Chania airport) so my husband called the hotel and the manager was so friendly and helpful, directing us to a nearby parking lot (the old town is pedestrians only, so you can't drive up to the hotel - you have to park a few blocks away and walk.) As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly, welcoming staff and shown to our beautiful rooms. The rooms included a lovely breakfast in the courtyard with plenty of delicious options (the yogurt and honey is to die for!) The location couldn't be better, you literally step outside the hotel and are in the heart of Rethimno with endless options for shopping, restaurants, cafes etc. There's a great little grocery store that sells everything about a 3 minute walk away, right beside the parking lot. We arrived later in the evening and were starving, and the manager suggested a couple of restaurants, one of which was directly next door, and it ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. The beds were comfortable, there's AC in the rooms, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We couldn't be happier with our choice and would definitely recommend it and stay here again. …

The experience of staying at the Rimondi Boutique Hotel in Rethymnon has been exceptional....from the moment that we entered the hotel to the moment that we left. The warm welcome from the staff makes you feel at home immediately and that your comfort is a priority. Whenever my brother and myself asked for something, it was dealt with swiftly. From the Manager, Yiannis, to the wider staff (including Sergo, Eleni, Stella, Albeo and Mikelis) you are made to feel at home. Often the staff went above and beyond what you would expect at a four or five star hotel (and we have visited a lot of hotels in our time). The room itself was stunning and tastefully decorated in muted cream colours. It felt more like an apartment than a room as there are different areas in the expansive open plan layout. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect - right in the centre of the old town where there are so many nice restaurants, shops, cafes etc on the doorstep. The hotel still manages to retain a peaceful atmosphere though, so perfect if you want to relax within the hotel itself. Surely, the greatest asset this marvellous hotel has though is the fantastic staff who visibly pull together as a team. Even those who we did not mention above - such as the lady who would greet us with a big warm smile as she gave us our packed breakfast and the cleaning team etc - all contributed to the experience. The staff were SO attentive and helpful, always! We had welcome drinks and nibbles on arrival (a nice touch). The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town but the noise of the hustle and bustle was muted once inside the hotel. Our room was beautiful and so clean. Our baby had an ‘accident’ on the bed and they were so helpful to clean it up free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, Evangeline was so attentive and remembered our coffee order each morning. Whenever we sat around the pool, staff immediately brought over a glass of water. I couldn’t fault our stay; it was truly fabulous! The only things I’d point out are that the lift is very small, so I’d recommend leaving a buggy or wheelchair at the reception desk (or requesting a ground floor room) and the room we stayed in was stunning but wouldn’t have been practical if our baby was older and crawling. Visited this hotel July 2023 without knowing it. The hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever been to. Perfect location in the middle of the old town and at the same time a quiet oasis for pure relaxation. The style is cozy antique and the service is absolutely top notch. The staff brought us water quite discreetly when you visited the pool without ordering it. Would like to visit the hotel again and stay there longer
