Hotel's Favourite
We had a wonderful weeks stay here. The hotel was modern, Our room was lovely with a nice big bed and the pool area was kept very clean. Breakfast was delicious and the two waitresses were so kind and helpful. It was right in the Centre of the old town but not noisy at all. I would definitely stay there again I think it is excellent value.

Great location in the middle of the Old Town.Lovely trees which cool the property down. The room (Junior Suite)was excellent albeit a little bit tired or alternatively a bit rustic!!Bed was very comfortable plus it had a table with chairs which is really useful when you are travelling. The breakfast was super tasty with 4 hot food options like omelettes etc.The pool area was very stylish.Friendly staff.Well worth your consideration.

What an amazing hotel! It was our first time in Rethymnon and the hotel made our experience. We visited for a wedding and a lot of our other friends staying in the old town decided to go with cheaper options but we didn’t regret having this hotel as a base. Unlike us they didn’t have access to a pool/sun loungers, breakfast or a bigger room to relax in. On the flip side a lot of the bridal party were staying in an all inclusive complex on the outskirts of the old town and they didn’t experience as much of the culture of the old town or get a chance to sample the local food. This hotel allowed a perfect in between !! Location: It has a brilliant location down a quiet side street but with busier streets either side and is around a 2 minute walk to the seafront. There are lovely shops and a variety of restaurants close by. We loved the coffee in the pirate coffee shop a few doors down. We also enjoyed a few drinks in chaplins rock bar at happy hour 7-8 which was about 2 mins away. Breakfast: when we booked we didn’t realise that breakfast was included and it was an amazing perk. They have a breakfast buffet section which consists of continental snacks, fresh orange juice, water, yogurt + toppings, fruit and cereals and then there’s a menu that you can then order off which was a pleasant surprise as the quality of food was great. The menu had choices varying from a traditional cretan egg option with cheese and pork, poach eggs with spinach and mustard sauce, omelette with peppers and turkey and scrambled eggs with salmon or bacon etc. The standard was that of what you would pay a decent amount of money for in a posh cafe in the UK! Filter coffee is free but anything from the coffee machine (latte, cappuccino etc) was an additional fee added to the room tab. The lady who serves breakfast in the morning was absolutely lovely, always smiling, and very attentive. The setting for breakfast was lovely around the poolside/ court yard! The room: we stayed in room number 7 which was at the front of the hotel, we had a cute little balcony which I loved reading my book on before we headed out, you can hear the music from the quirky coffee shop a few doors down and it created a nice atmosphere. The balcony was private as there were lovely trees growing in front. Our room was the middle priced room I believe and had all the amenities and space we needed. There’s a mini kitchen with fridge/mini freezer section, sink and a pod coffee machine in which you could make an espresso in the morning (my partner loved having that on the balcony before we headed down for breakfast). The bed was a really good size we are used to a king size at home and I would say it was around that size if not bigger. The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower, hair dryer, slippers and olive oil shower gels, shampoo and soaps. Cleaning service: someone came and cleaned our room every day and it’s the best thorough clean I’ve experienced in a hotel! Clean towels, clean bedding and new coffee pots/tea and toiletries refilled everyday. The room would always be mopped and the shower wiped down. We also didn’t feel rushed to leave our room for it to be cleaned, the cleaner would tend to clean at around 11 after we had breakfast and had left to explore for the day. Staff: everyone was lovely and we arrived late on the Wednesday night so they had made prior arrangements to leave the room open and ready. We then did not fly home until late the following week and we were able to leave our bags in reception and still use the services for the day. My only criticism which is out of the hotels hands.. I got eaten alive by mosquitos so bring sprays, bands and plug ins for the room! You would be silly not to book this hotel!

The perfect boutique hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, fancy design. I would describe it as cosy and fancy. The interior garden where the pool is located and where breakfast is served is a small heaven corner 😁 Would definitely come again!

We had an amazing 10 days staying at this hotel. we stayed in Room 7 on the ground level. Our room was kept immaculately clean everyday and included a wonderful breakfast which comprised of continental with a choice of eggs. The staff in every sector were hospitable and gracious especially liberty on reception who booked our restaurants and Elandra (sorry about spelling!) who gave us great tips at breakfast for beaches and restaurants too. Must people stayed here a few days as they were travelling around the beautiful island but we chose to stay here and got the bus to Chania etc., top tip. The buses are excellent but they do leave early sometimes so get there a good 15 minutes early and try and reserve your bus time as they get busy

What an amazing hotel! We were welcomed by Manoussos, extremely friendly, and showed us to our big, clean and pretty looking room. The garden and pool looked amazing by night and it's a very comfortable place to sunbathe whilst they bring you a cold drink. The hotel is located in the centum of Rethymnon. Shops are on your door step and the beach is a 15 min walk away. Breakfast is very luxurious with an a la carte menu and all the staff are very friendly. Overall, an amazing place to stay and I would recommend it for sure! A 10 out of 10!

We loved our time here. The hotel felt like an oasis in the heart of Rethymnon Old Town. The lovely pool garden area was wonderful and full of flowering plants and lemon trees, but we could step outside and be right in the middle of things. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable- but we spent most of our time wandering in the Old Town or relaxing poolside.

Super comfortable, clean hotel. Great location to explore the city on foot. Very clean. Super breakfast. Great value, considering that breakfast is included. Parking tip: I arrived on a market day and couldn't use the nearby public lot. I found a space on the surrounding street. Download the parking app as noted on the signs on the street. I think it was 10 Euros for 24 hrs. You can renew parking time from the app without going back to the car.

Amazing hotel. Great location, near the harbor and in the old town next to shops and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful with a a nice lounge and pool area in the back. Our room was nicely devoted and big, warm (it was cold and rainy the day we were there). The breakfast is amazing with lots of great options and most of all the staff is really nice which of course made the stay so much better. No complaints, would definitely recommend staying here.
