I am so unsatisfied with this place, I will be making a list by points: -the place is literally infested by cicadas, it's hellish and impossible to stand. Feels like a nightmare. -at check out the lady couldn't read the numbers of my card, almost didn't let us pay -the place is all over covered by for-rent tents that are dirty as they could be. I've never seen anything as disgusting and I have seen a lot of disgusting places -the busses are something to fear. Dirty, almost falling to pieces and absolutely repulsive and scary. The bus driver is just the same. -the camping owners are brutish guys that smoke weed from the early morning -the mini market is full of rotting fruit and vegetables and smells disgusting. And yes, there are also the french students.
My sister and I spent two nights on the campsite and we were very satisfied. The owner as well as the other staff members were very friendly. The campsite is at a good location- there is a free bus transfer going 7 times a day (in high season even more often) to the town and from there is it easy to go to other parts of the islands by bus. The cabins are basically equipped but we felt very comfortable in it. Thanks a lot for the hospitality!
This summer I made a decade of loyalty to this place (with few breaks). To be honest, it was combination of using a variety of their accomodation services. Sometimes, it was the room in Petalides (mostly), sometimes bed cabin and in few emergency situations rented tent. What I always loved is the atmosphere in dining area - meeting people from around the world. This place gave me some lifetime friendships. Campsite is in gooooood shade, you will never be exposed to the sun unintentionally. Toilets are always clean. Everything well equipped. Mini market has surpisingly low prices (other campsites mini markets charges you a lot from my experience) and there is still free bus ride ten times a day to Paroikia to buy your daily food supplies in supermarket and put it to the common fridge (or your private, if your are in Petalides rooms). Staff are always in your service, ready to help (if you have normal requirements). The beach is just outside the camp and is hidden from the wind (unique feature in Cyclades). And it is not just a beach. It is turquoise heaven. Krios camping never disappointed me. THE PLACE FOR THE PEOPLE FROM THE PEOPLE.…
Nice beach, good and helpful staff, good price. Clean toilets, excellent for families, it has a playground for children. A regular bus service is available for free, they will always be there to pick you up at the ferry terminal and return.
A friends of mine and I, we discovered this camping in August 2016 and liked it so much that we return for another week in September when the crowds were gone. Camping is very close to the beach and a short drive or a long but pleasant walk - along the beach or on the road - to Paros town. Camping staff offer scheduled lifts to and from the town. Peak season in August was busy, still plenty of shadow under the pine trees but September was just amazing. Facilities are good and being improved additionally, we were told that wifi would be accessible across the entire camping area in 2017, a new laundry with a washing machine installed, etc. It is clean, staff friendly. The only improvement I suggest - opening hours of their pool should be extended. I will happily return this year again and I can recommend this place to solo travellers, couples and families.…
