Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

What a fantastic place! We stayed in a deluxe double room with sea views which were stunning. The whole place was so chilled and relaxed. The gardens, pool area and rooms are well tended to and extremely clean. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel really welcome. Breakfast was a mix of continental (pastries, cakes, toast, meats, cheeses etc) although eggs and bacon were also available along with fruit juice and tea/coffee. Lots of variety on the lunch and evening menus and food was really good and reasonably priced. We hired a quad bike for the day and travelled to Kos Town and Harbour and then on to the very picturesque village of Zia high in the hillside which has lots of little shops and a lovely park with stunning views of Tigaki. The walk from the hotel to Tigaki centre took approx 30 minutes but it's well worth it for the views along the way. If you want a relaxing time in a peaceful location away from the bars and restaurants, then I would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative is we didn't stay longer. We will definitely be returning.

Start of my 60th celebrations, found this little gem in Kos. Family run, Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were spotless. Has a fabulous family pool with easy walk in steps, the lovely beach sits just behind the pool with an incredible sunset every night. We ate at the hotel, breakfast was ok, lunch and dinner were superb, lots of dishes available and the prawns - delicious.

Situated about a mile and half outside Tigaki directly on the coast. Hotel has a lovely pool area with private beach in front. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of Greek tasty dishes served on a lovely sunny terrace overlooking the sea. We only had dinner once in the hotel which was good but had excellent lunchtime meals from The pool bar daily. The place has a lovely laid back atmosphere. Bikes can be hired from reception for 5€ a day, otherwise there is a local bus service into the village. All of the staff were excellent/ especially the very hard working pool bar man. Thoroughly recommended

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Irina Beach Hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom mountain view apartment. It was a very good size with very comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice , and the homemade cakes were incredible. All the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Pool area was lovely very clean and no one reserving sunbeds so plenty available. Pool is also next to the beach which was lovely. Quite a trek into Tingaki but a bus top directly outside the hotel to take to Tingaki and Kos Town. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Location: The hotel is around a 30 minute walk (2.5km) into Tigaki. The closest supermarket is around a 15 minute walk. You can rent bikes with the aid of the hotel for around €5 a day (electric assist bikes also available for extra). Cycling is very popular in Kos and easy to do if able, due to the island being quite flat. I believe the hotel can also assist with car hire. The hotel serves some nice evening meals. There is also a beautiful taverna we went to twice called Ampeli Wine Yard, which offers tasty meze dishes. This was less than a 10 minute walk away (head left as you leave the hotel). Taverne Agnanti is also pleasant, and a similar 10 minute walk from the hotel in the direction of Tigaki. The location has its advantages, in that it is in a peaceful location, with no noise from neighbouring bars. It also has a section of sandy beach just beyond the the pool area, which was very clean with some amazing views over to Turkey and stunning sunsets in the evening. There is a bus stop only a few metres from the hotel that can take you into Tigaki or Kos town for €2.10. We used it a couple of times. As the stop was before the busier areas in central Tigaki, we managed to get seats (it can get crazy busy further down the line). Hotel and staff: We arrived just before midnight, which I think was outside normal reception operating hours, but a kind gentleman at reception was ready to greet us and check us in. We had a superior, sea view room which was spacious, clean and equipped with a closet, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, TV, vanity mirror and small table with chairs. I found the double bed (two singles pushed together) to be very comfortable. A safe was not included; I believe you can request one but there's a charge. My only gripes about the room is that the air con was rather weak and ineffective at keeping the room cool. The patio door was left slightly open when we arrived, and on the first night there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. They mostly left me alone but treated my partner like an all you can eat buffet. We kept the patio door closed afterwards, and their numbers appeared to decline with each day. Also, I know you don't go on holiday to browse the internet, but it can be a useful tool for research and such. The WiFi here is free but we found it weak and unreliable most of the time. The hotel grounds are spotlessly clean and the pool is well maintained. Plenty if sunbeds are available near the pool and on the beach. We had no issues finding any, even in the late morning or early afternoon. This place is very chilled out! Our rate included breakfast, and the offerings were tasty and they'd include some Greek dishes like spanakopita on occasion. Coffee from the machine was limited to black filter with a hot milk option on the machine; not amazing, but it was serviceable at staving off caffeine withdrawal. Staff are friendly, helpful and approachable, particularly the gentlemen serving at the pool bar. Overall, I'm glad I chose Irina Beach for my first experience of Kos and for much appreciated rest and relaxation!

As a change from the hotel I was staying in, I often went for a swim here (it's fine to do this if you buy a drink at the bar). Loved it. Immaculate, large pool overlooking the beach, plenty of comfy sunbeds. Excellent bar, and excellent service. Staff (Valentino and Adonis) were happy to play the sort of music customers requested, and generally made everyone feel thoroughly welcome. Uncrowded, laid back. Just lovely, can't wait to return.

We didn’t stay here but visited for food one evening and also used pool and snack bar a few days while on holiday. Lovely clean hotel with Amazing views and beach access. Staff all very polite and evening meal was excellent with great table service. We would recommend this place to anyone passing or staying nearby. Also do a great draught beer in frozen glass… perfect 🍺

From the moment we arrived( very late on a Sunday night) we were made to feel special and looked after. The staff, ( special mention to Valentino) were friendly and courteous, nothing was too much trouble. They booked us a restaurant to see the sunset at Zia,they gave us access to a shower room on our last day ,every time we met them they seemed genuinely pleased to see us. The room, restaurant, bar, pool, beach were all spotlessly clean and beautiful. We had a sea view from our room.Comfortable beds and free wi-fi and air conditioning. Breakfast was out of this world.Fresh local produce, home baked cakes puddings and pastries. If you're offered an option with breakfast included, take it! We had the most perfect week's stay and I can't recommend this beautiful place and people enough. Thankyou ,
