We recently returned to Symi after 40 years, our previous visit having been for our honeymoon. There are many changes to the island , but it remains a delight. We spent our first five nights at The Old Markets. The hotel is stylish, comfortable and well equipped with gorgeous views. The staff were all marvellous; Ben and Anna were charming and made us most welcome and Annique, Agera, and Mikey were friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a special time

This marvelous hotel is the reason to return to Symi!!!! We finally made it and we visited Sými after a strange and distopic season because of COVID . What can I say? We were upgraded to Symi suite, the welcoming was perfect, the staff polite, friendly, always with a smile and helpful!!!!! The breakfast tasteful I loved the yogurt with granola! The suite was just unforgettable! Spacious, well decorated, perfect views,spotless...... We also had a romantic dinner .... we loved everything!!!!! The owner’s nephew was one of the kind!!! With a big smile on his face, polite, helpful with a great sense of humour!!!!!!!He made us feel unique!!!! He also treated us the bottles of wine that we drunk!!! For us Symi is the old market!!!and the people of the old markets!!!! Thank you all for the perfect stay!!! We will definitely come back!!!!

This hotel was beautiful. The staff were super friendly and really knew the local town and where was good to eat. The hotel has incredible views and was so peaceful and quiet. The boat to the other beaches is a short walk from the hotel and wasn't expensive at all.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what defines The Old Markets as elegant, classy and cultured. It’s in the attention to detail across the rooms/ suites in the two buildings and the thoughtful restoration efforts of the owner in keeping these elegant old mansions and agora (Old market centre - hence the name) alive. Views of stunning Symi harbour, cove and experience the hospitality for yourself.
