Parga Beach Resort is a beachfront resort in Parga, consisting of neoclassical Venetian style bungalows, surrounded by 350 year old olive trees and a fabulous garden with over 500 plants and flowers. In a relaxing and stylish setting by the sea that offers a view of one of best beaches in Greece, of the Venetian castle and the city of Parga, you can taste our Mediterranean fusion cuisine that includes traditional dishes, fresh fish and oysters. You can also enjoy coffee, refreshments, snacks and cocktails at the bar right next to the restaurant, which has the same spectacular view and decor. The experience is completed by music that carries you away and by our friendly and experienced staff. The décor of the rooms matches perfectly with the beautiful neoclassical façade of the bangalows. The bedroom’s decoration speaks for itself; it is the embodiment of style and quality. But Parga Beach Resort’s experience is not only about what you see. The Coco Mat orthopedic and ecological mattress and pillow of your choice selected from our pillow menu will give you an excellent sleep experience!

We were bumped at the last minute from Hotel Alfa as they were no longer doing evening meals. We had never been to Parga Beach resort (confusingly on Valtos, not Parga, beach) and didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The resort is set in beautiful gardens which are immaculately kept. Even in October most of the flowers were in bloom and the place is filled with the heady scent of Jasmine. We had a wonderful room (160) although it must be said some rooms are better than others. We also had a beautiful balcony with a clear view of the sea. The staff are generally very helpful and the cleaning staff are extremely hard working - our room was cleaned every day except one. Although the rooms are large there is surprisingly little drawer space and the bath does not have a shower curtain so it is impossible not to soak the floor. The hotel has a mixture of Brits and Scandinavians and seems to focus on young families. There are four pools and luckily for us one is adults only. For the last week of the year, when it must be tempting to cut bak, the food was outstanding - a fine variety and plenty of it - 10/10. It is advertised in the TUI brochure as Small and Friendly but I think that is pushing it a bit - there are over 150 rooms. The Captains bar is nearby for those who want a local drink outside although the hotel does has a lovely seaside bar. Personally, I wouldn't return due to its family-oriented flavour but I cannot praise it highly enough for the food, staff and layout. We had free use of the sunbeds but I understand those on B&B have to pay.

I spent a week here, the penultimate week of the summer season. If you're after somewhere to unwind and recharge your batteries this is the perfect place! It's an hour's drive from the airport with the road running along the coast so very scenic. The resort is in a beautiful tropical garden setting right on the beach with flowers and fruit trees in abundance. The rooms are well maintained and everywhere is spotlessly clean - you are literally tripping over people cleaning and sweeping all day! The Covid procedures in place were good and made you feel safe. Everyone, guests and staff, required to wear masks indoors. Plent of hand sanitiser dotted about. The gym can be booked for a one hour slot per day allocated for your room only as another protective measure. The main restaurant /bar looks out to the sea, the views are lovely and there is live music 5 nights a week. There was a good selection of food not dissimilar to most large hotels. I requested gluten free bread the first day then every morning after that as soon as the restaurant staff saw me they went to fetch the bread, they are super friendly and helpful. The nearest town is pretty with little lanes, cafés and restaurants along the harbour. A lot of the tourist shops were closed when I visited due it being the end of the season but there were a few still open. Boat trips had also stopped the week previously apparently. Beach - very clean and well maintained. If you book with a tour company sunbed hire is included otherwise its €10 pp per day. All in all a really lovely place in a beautiful setting. But it's the staff who make this place special, they go above and beyond.

What a great hotel! Rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day! Fresh towels and sheets. Beach towels readily changeable. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking one of the pools. Beautiful gardens to walk through on way to beach. Food was very good (could sometimes have been a bit hotter - but quality excellent!) Staff were helpful and friendly! Lovely beach facilities- charge for beds - but some people had these included in their package.

We stayed here for 2 weeks end of September, beginning of October. We upgraded to Verdant suite which was a larger room with a super king size bed and had a large lounge area with corner sofa and an outside terrace overlooking the gardens. The gardens are fragrant and lovely with a lot of flowers and fruit trees, including a lot of banana trees which I didn’t expect in Greece. Accommodation is mainly bungalows with some 2 storey. There are 4 small pools hidden away in the gardens. We didn’t use the pools which is unusual for us, as the hotel is right on Valtos beach and the best bit with the sand. The end nearer the castle is large shingle and you need beach shoes. The hotel has a large area of sun beds on the beach with bar service but it depends on who you booked through as to whether you have to pay for them which seemed rather strange. We booked a week direct with the hotel and a week through Secret Escapes and got a beach card to show the beach guy, we got them for free whereas our friends who booked through Jet2 had to pay €10 for theirs which was a bit awkward. We also got free pick up and transfer to and from the airport which is about an hour away. The hotel is about a 20 min pedestrianised walk into Parga town up a very steep hill that has the castle on the top with fantastic views out over the harbour area. You can also get a water taxi round for €5 a couple, that runs a couple of times an hour up to 23.30pm or a car taxi from the hotel. All the staff in the hotel couldn’t do enough for us and were very friendly especially the restaurant manager. I happened to mention there wasn’t any vegetables available at the evening buffet and I like my vegetables. Next night there was a big tray of steamed mixed vegetables. If I had to find a negative, it would be the food. With all the citrus trees, fresh orange juice at breakfast would be good rather than concentrate, no crackers with the cheese, no ice cream for dessert even though there is an ice cream cart you can buy ice cream from during the day, lack of vegetables and the normal food isn’t very hot. They do provide a microwave but I didn’t see anyone use it. These are just small niggles but overall the hotel is fabulous and we can definitely recommend. We would definitely go back

Lovely welcome from reception staff - not just kind but knowledgeable, very helpful, amusing and spoke good English. Cleaners and bar/restaurant staff also very friendly - nice that they seemed happy in their work. Gardens and site layout superb. We were lucky in our room being right next to beach so we never need to hire a sunbed on the beach. Nice distance to town - good walk or good boat-taxi. Excellent day trip to River Acheron (gorge walk etc.). Thanks to all.
