I booked one of the suites and was amazed by the size of it. It as absolutely beautiful with lovely lighting, comfortable seating, lots of storage and a huge bed (although it was firm, like most Geek beds!)

The balcony was enormous and an L shape with a beautiful sea view, just above the promenade. I was concerned that it would be too noisy at night, but once you shut the patio doors, you can't hear a thing. Air conditioning was very welcome after a day at the beach.

We loved watching the bridge retract to let the big boats through and enjoyed some delicious souvlaki.

Avoid if possible a room to the street. Very noisy, breakfast is under average, bread and croissant are a disaster. I asked for another room but the lady at the reception rejected my request, she prentended that the hotel is fully booked but this was a pure lye. The Hotel was almost empty. I still don’t know why she did this but anyhow, I cannot recommend a hotel with unhonest stuff.

The hotel is located at the waterfront of Chalkis. The over all facility is nice. Breakfast is average or a little below. The view from the 6th floor is great. There are number of great food joints along the waterfront. There are parkings nearby.

Over all - nice stay.

We had a delightful one-night stay at Hotel Paliroia. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking surroundings that add to the overall charm of the place. From the moment we stepped into our rooms, we were impressed by how impeccably clean they were. The attention to detail in maintaining the rooms did not go unnoticed, and it contributed significantly to our comfortable stay.

What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional level of service provided by the hotel staff. Even during the late hours of the night when an unfortunate incident occurred and I suffered a minor injury to the foot, the staff sprang into action with unwavering promptness. They rushed to our aid, promptly bringing ice to alleviate the discomfort, all while wearing warm and genuine smiles that reassured us that we were in good hands. Their dedication to ensuring our well-being and comfort was heartwarming, and it made a significant difference in our overall experience.

In addition to the outstanding service, our room was thoughtfully equipped with refreshing cold water, which proved to be a blessing during the sweltering heat of the day. It's the little touches like this that make a hotel truly exceptional, and we appreciated the hotel's efforts to anticipate our needs and provide a comfortable environment.

We sincerely thank the entire team at Hotel Paliroia for their hospitality and kindness. Our short stay was made memorable by their outstanding service, and we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

If you're looking for a hotel that offers a fantastic location, spotless rooms, and exceptional service, Hotel Paliroia is the perfect choice.

One of the best locations , or the best , to stay in Khalid. You are in the absolute center where you can do your business or just relax by the sea. Friendly staff, clean - extra clean due to COVID-19. Also the lounge cafe and restaurant is the best choice to enjoy coffee, drinks , sweets and tasteful dishes cooked with care. So in the end of the day you have a great experience.

Thank you Paliria hotel.

We stay just for one night in Paliria Hotel. Staff was polite and friendly with prompt service. Most of the visitors rate this hotel for 3-4 stars which I never agreed. I rather 5 stars. Affordable prices for Paliria, staying in the heart of the center, front sea view, perfect location. Highly recommend!!!!

Visited Paliria Hotel for 1 night. The service was nice and the room was basic and clean. The included breakfast was very basic and pretty ordinary but there was a nice juice bar just up the road. If I had to visit again I would stay at Paliria

I was a bit reluctant about what we would face here since the reviews were not exactly amazing. Fortunately I was happily surprised!

This was a great experience. The hotel is in the middle of this exceptional pedestrian road in front of the sea, on a corner. Yes, there is no parking as I saw in the reviews beforehand but we found a place on the road near there, so this didn't create a problem for us. It also has all the coffee shops and restaurants very close, there is one just outside the hotel and a lot to choose from around.

I had asked for a sea view room and we got one on the 4 floor. If you check the photos you will see what I mean, it was beautiful. A small balcony with a pair of chairs and a small table, I enjoyed my coffee looking at the sea and didn't want to leave the chair. This was really worth it.

The room itself was spacious and the decoration was not bad, it felt nice inside (photos available also). We didn't see any dirt as I had read, on the contrary the bathroom was shining. This was a great surprise also. The wifi was good and included in the price, At night, since it was summer and we chose to keep the window open for fresh sea breeze there was some noise but this didn't annoy us much.

The breakfast room was ok (check fotos), the windows are overlooking the city, nothing special. The decoration was this of a decent hotel and the breakfast, although not exceptional as mentioned by other visitors, was decent too. A nice touch was the availability of the special hot sand ("chovoli") and other cutlery for making a great Greek coffee - I, on the other hand, enjoyed a nice cup of instant coffee which I prefer. There was just one - polite - person to serve the tables and there was some gathering in the next room so I guess that's why he looked so anxious to manage all.

Overall I would stay here again and I would recommend it. I think this hotel would be a reason to choose Chalkida as a short distance destination from Athens again.

Dear K_Maria_Athens, Even our photographer would not do such a nice shooting for us...ha ha ha Thank you very much for your nice words about our hotel. The picture you faced is different from the other reviewers since we always change things and make them better and better for all of you. The parking is still one problem although you were of the lucky ones. We are happy that you liked the room and sure about the view you had. we try as much as we can to give rooms with sea view to our clients in order to have the same pleasant surprise you had. we hope to see you again...soon!!! Best Regards Ria.

Hotel is perfectly placed in the truly central area of pedestrian street by the sea. Ask for sea side room and you will have magnificent view from the balcony on whole Evripos channel including the bridge that connect island with mainland. If you are looking for some quitness during the evening its better to take some higher floor. Street is usually overcrowded until 2 or even 3 after midnight.
I spent there more than a week with my partner and we couldnt find anything bad about hotel expect little bit about bathroom which is very basic. OK, TV didnt have too many channels but who cares. Dont expect miracles, there is nothing luxurious regarding the room, however, in general hotel is far better than ordinary. From my point of view its a 3+ stars hotel (dont know officially). Room was cleaned every day and nobody disturbed us in the late morning. Stuff is very friendly with unexpectedly good knowledge of English. We had full pansion and it was maybe the best part. Launch and dinner were served in a hotel garden with the similar view like it was from the room and I never had better hotel food in whole Greece.
Hotel is too far away from nearest good beaches so if you have plans for swimming, car is best option. Chalkida is nice and enjoyable but not really a traditional turistic place. I found just one info center with some maps and it was not in the town center but on the mainland side of the bridge. There are some shopping streets less than five minutes walking from hotel but without some great variaty in shops or brands.

Dear Egaleo1000, First of all I would like to thank you for your message. We were not so familiar how to reply to you till today but now we found the solution. We truly apologize. As you said, yes, the hotel is centrally located with its good and less good things around. Although the sea view is the award for the romantic ones and not only, some times the smiles and the hapiness of the people walking around the marina till late at night may tease you to go again downstairs for a drink... a high floor room is one of the solutions. For fun or business our hotel is really ready to serve you. Concerning the channels we will see what we can do with our staff and technicians. Happy to hear that you liked our food since we made a really unique effort to offer something different than a simple restaurant to our guest and with tastes for various moods and limits. Our staff is our “family” as we count on them like being relatives. They love the hotel since this building has a history in hospitality at least of 100 years. Our hotel is a city hotel and unfortunately if you want places to visit such beaches and sea shores, a car is needed but there are many other things you can see if you walk around as well. So, we really thank you for your message and we hope to see you again. Best Regards Ria

Stayed recently at this hotel which has an excellent location in the city center, at a stone's throw from everything. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly.

The hotel has its on bar and restaurant, both of which offer their services at a reasonable price.
