It was a good stay, hotel is in the centre, friendly staff, clean and budget recommend it for everyone. If you come by car, nearby you may find parking places easily. It's 5 minute walk to Ladadika where you can find the most beautiful taverns and restaurants.

My opinion on Astoria: “Excellent food, excellent personnel and amazing location (close to the boulevard). The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything was simply perfect, especially the service of the hotel staff.”

Recently renovated but the room did not have second bedside table and for lighting the room had only two reading lamps, which had occupied the two out of the three power sockets, so someone can charge only one device every time. Breakfast was ok.

Small room with a window in front of a dirty wall (other building). But this was the only view. It should be in a very low price. the light in the room was on, with the keycard in the cardholder or not...

Astoria is located downtown of Thessaloniki at Tsimiski a quite busy road. The rooms are convenient and the stuff friendly. Maybe a bit overprized with 73€ for a double-room with breakfast. All in all we had a pleasant stay.

Hotel is located near the best restaurants in town but isolation of the windows and beds are not good. Also, parking is difficult and you need to pay extra money for parking, which is just next to the hotel

Average Hotel. The rooms were descent although the bath needed refurbishment. Internet access was not very good and mattress was not very comfortable. The bed cover was not thick enough and was a bit cold while sleeping at night. Breakfast is not recommended.

I called for a room, and they said it was 72 euros. On every site they advertised including their website it was a variety of prices between 65 and 72. When I got there and asked the receptionist she ignored me. Not enough outlets in the rooms. Not a side table on one side of the bed. Definitely a hotel...

Great location - you can walk to Thessaloniki centre within minutes, the very friendly staff, the room very basic, the bed matress and pilows were not comfortable(need new ones!) Price was ok for a central hotel, with a few changes it can become awesome!

Excellently situated in the heart of the city, the ASTORIA is ideal for access to the business district and stock exchange, the main shopping areas and the city's night life and cultural sites. Also close by is the quaint and traditional Ladadika (from the Greek word, Ladi, meaning oil). The ASTORIA hotel, inspired by the Byzantine tradition of the city and the hospitality of that era, combines contemporary facilities with grace, and whether staying for business or pleasure it welcomes all its guests with courtesy, warmth and comfort. For 40 years this hotel serves the visitors of the city in a high performance of professionalism and warm hospitality. This year a major renovation took place and in August 2009, ASTORIA reopened its popular doors with a new face. All rooms of ASTORIA are designed in a simple but authentic form by F.P.Papadopoulos, the architect behind all P.A.P hotels, president of the firm. The Culinary Art School of HOTELIA, the Hotel & Restaurant Management School of P.A.P Corp., Is highlighting with its up to date performances the daily hotels menu.
