Detailed Reviews
I stayed here one night on the way home. The hotel is acceptable (not extraordinarily), but you can find cleanliness even if the bathroom is on an old model. Correct breakfast for the 3 star category. The strong point is that they are located in the city centre.
A quite strange thing was the price. I found a rate on an online travel agency (b.com), I contacted the hotel to help them and book directly and I received a higher price telling me that in fact on that OTA is a mistake. The next minute the prices went up online. My opinion is that it was not an elegant move on the part of the hotel.
Enjoy

Location in the very heart of the city, airport bus stop a few metres away, breakfast plentiful from 7.00 to 11.00. Lots of cafes and small eateries in the vicinity, a minimarket just next door and a supermarket about 100 m away. Staff nice and helpful, always smiling.
The walls don´t seem to be thick enough as I could hear all the sounds from both neighbouring rooms.

I stayed for four nights in this hotel and had a good time.
Located on Egnatia, 5 minutes from Piazza Venizelos and the Ladadika clubs, it is a fairly modern structure, with rooms that are not very large but functional, slightly old-fashioned furniture and slightly small bathrooms, but everything is clean and with changes daily bathroom tablecloths.
The breakfast is varied and plentiful but there is more savory offerings.
For short stays it is recommended.

Very nice hotel in the center of the city. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.
Renovated room, clean and with excellent mattresses, we had the best night's sleep here.
Hotel staff was very careful about keeping COVID19 measures, which made us feel very safe during our stay.
Breakfast was very good, so was the wifi.
We would definitely stay here again.

The El Greco was our accommodation during our 12-day study trip over Orthodox Easter. The hotel is very centrally located: you can actually walk to the whole city, but there is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. And if you want it to be even more convenient, you can take a taxi - very cheap.
The price-performance ratio is top-notch. The rooms are small, but clean. Located on the Via Egnatia, we were grateful to have a room facing the courtyard. However, the street noise did not bother other travelers (with earplugs).
We were also able to park our rental cars in the hotel's own underground car park.
+ large, good breakfast buffet
+ very friendly, helpful staff
+ top location
+ excellent price-performance ratio for a 3-star hotel
+ clean
- too few places to hang towels
- very small shower

Stayed 2 nights in El Greco Hotel, Thessaloniki. Room was clean and had all we needed. Terrace at the room, but no seats on it. We were at a higher floor, what I recommend, because of street noise. Some people working at the reception of the hotel, could be more friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is very good and a friendly lady is working in the restaurant, that for the rest is not such a pleasant place. Location of the hotel is excellent, at 10 to 15 minutes walking from the trainstation. You can visit all the highlights of Thessaloniki just by walking. The bus to Chalkidiki busstation has a stop in front of the hotel, just cross the street. The pleasant Ladadiki neighbourhood is a 5 to 10 minutes walking. Restaurants are at walking distance and shops are nearby.

We reserved a triple room with breakfast included but at check in, receptionist said we have to pay for the 3rd person. The room was “cozy” for family. The air condition was useless and the bathroom was like a boiler room and smelled terrible.

Conveniently located hotel with all the amenities we needed. Helpful staff and a good breakfast selection available. The lifts are small and you may have to wait a while when the hotel gets busy. The rooms would benefit from having chairs instead of stools.

Very nicely located hotel near Thessaloniki by Night. Friendly and helpful staff. Good accommodation including nice breakfast, rooms are good with renovated bathroom, but due to lack of carpets in corridors it can be a bit noisy at night, so be silently respectful to your sleeping neighbours ! Good value for money
