Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed with Jo for about three or four nights in May. We had a wonderful time and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were welcomed like family and treated well. The views of the Acrocorinth are amazing and this was such a pastoral and unhurried environment after the bustle of Athens. I would definitly stay here again!

5 Stars+ Long day after a stressful situation is Greece. The owner Jo out of Australia was very accommodating at the hour we contacted them late in the evening. She stayed up to attend us arriving at almost midnight and even asked if we wanted breakfast so she could have her staff ready in the morning. Room in the attic was very cozy, clean and organized. WIFI for every floor. Nice quite place to stay. Sorry for not taking the time to upload a picture because I didn’t take one, I only took a business card to prove I was there :-)

Glad we stopped here. Stunning views. Ancient Corinth excellent location, very comfortable accommodation, all the amenities required for our short stay. Warm hospitality. Walking distance from the centre of Ancient Corinth with all the tavernas and restaurants, and close by the main archeological sites. Easy to find and a perfect overnight location for our drive to Athens from the North East (ie close to the A8). Short drive to visit the Corinth canal. A visit to ancient Corinth is a must do, the archeological site is deeply touching, walking the very stones and paths St Paul must have walked when he planted the Church of Jesus here over 2000 years ago. Accommodation clean and in good condition. We were there in Jan so quite cold at night but the AirCon kept us warm enough. Glad we stayed here.

My husband and I stayed twice this summer, on our way to Crete in June and on the return journey to Italy late September. The location is excellent for visiting ancient Corinth, with a choice of Tavernas, all within walking distance. The breakfast was superb. The en-suite rooms had everything one could wish for, giving excellent value for money. . The owners went above and beyond on our return visit, as our car had broken down, but we needed to get to Patras to catch the ferry.. They got mechanics to come out twice and their help was crucial is getting us back on the road in time. I cannot recommend Jo Marino's rooms highly enough, they truly value their customers.

My partner and I booked a room directly with the owner and stayed for 3 nights. We traveled directly from a late arrival at Athens airport, and this was not a problem. Breakfast was good and there were several restaurants in the village at which we could have an evening meal. There is plenty to do in the area for a few days and we enjoyed our visit...

Only 800 metres from the ancient site of Corinth and all restaurants and easily walkable. Really friendly and helpful host. Rooms are clean and light, and all you need for a short stay. Terrace looks out into the countryside. Excellent breakfast including local and homemade produce.

I have been staying for a whole month for 3 to 4 days per week in their lovely guest room. I have nothing but the best to tell for the rooms (lovely, clean, fully equipped), the generous breakfast and their traditional greek hospitality. Felt like home from the first day and to be honest I think I may be a bit nostalgic when I leave... Beautiful place also to see around

Having enjoyed our stay at Jo Marinis Rooms in May 2016 we returned and have just spent 2 nights there. Jo and Anastasia were very helpful and kindly made us a snack as we arrived straight from the airport after 11pm. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was super as Anastasia is an excellent cook (watch out for her chocolate/orange cake).

travelling through this region with archaeological friends, we stayed at Jo Marinarse rooms an apparent B&B. terrible rooms dusty dirty my bed sheet was dirty & beds, like taken from the ruins, breakfast the milk had a real sour taste bread had some mould. The attitudes on those running it is terrible and there back chatting in there tongue was terrible as our friend travelling with us is from create and he relayed what they were saying we seemed inbreed, more there the inbreeds with an extreme bad attitude. Then there was the noisy cat not only over night but was in the breakfast area As we where to be around the area for a week the next day found more comfortable accommodation in the older village just up the road as we are on a working Holiday examining the ruins. Those who rank it highly must be receiving some sort of benefits as i have stayed all over the world, Jo's room were far the worst we have stayed in. I honestly can not nor would recommend this b&b and if Greece had appropriate health checks and inspectors then these rooms would be the first they should close. Our guide and friend from create will be reporting these rooms to the appropriate body in Athens. between us all we rate it a minus 0 / 10 as the others in our group found beds to be hard bad service wifi was slow and also wondering if heating worked in rooms and if there view is of the mountain rather they blocked it..back in Broome now nice and warm

It has been a great pleasure to stay in Jo Marinis B&B during my several cycling tours in Peloponneso. First time was on September 2016, where I recovered after an heavy rainy day ride. Jo and her cousin Anastasia were so smart and friendly to welcome me. The rooms are completely renovated and pretty clean and full optionals. Breakfast "buffet" excellent and Jo company really warm. Cyclist welcome !! It's a Must in the background of a pleasant village full of ancient history.
