Hydra has to be kind of expensive; after all, donkeys eat a lot, and it's only donkeys that can serve as transport. And space is limited. Still, I was a little surprised, staying there in the off season, to pay 100 euros for a room with an odd smell, limited hot water, no drinking water from the tap, and spotty...

Lovely classy room, good view of town from balcony. Not far from harbour. Nice breakfast in courtyard. The town was v nice to stroll around. Enjoyable walk along cliff to a couple of bays for swimming. The museum was surprisingly what we enjoyed most - v interesting.

This beautiful hotel on the island of Hydra was a perfect escape from reality. The service in all areas was impeccable. The breakfast served in a beautiful court yard bliss. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. I would love to return to Hydra and this hotel.

Great rooms with terraces and outdoor furniture; friendly staff; very quiet off the main street. There is a bit of a walk up to the hotel from the harbour if you have heavy cases, especially if hot. Breakfast served outside.

I have been traveling to this hidden gem of an island for over 20 years and decided to try the Angelica for the weekend before I moved in to my longer rental home outside of the port. My bedroom was high ceilings with antigue furniture and a large terrace with two lounge chairs and a table for two and a...

We spent four nights in Hydra in this very comfortable, clean and beautiful hotel in a superior balcony room. The owner is very nice and the breakfast was delicious (especially the feta cheese and yogurt). The woman in the kitchen are very helpful and sweet. The hotel is very quiet since there are no cars or scooters on the island...

The Angelica has been created out of an old house and new building on the opposite side of the road. Our room was in the old part and I got the distinct impression the newer part was better, although it only seems to come into use as the hotel fills up. Our room (Argo) was fairly spacious and contained classic...

Set in a serene romantic location, we had a room with a balcony and Jacuzzi bath in addition to a jacuzzi and sun loungers in the courtyard. The rooms were air conditioned, bathrobes and slippers were provided and the toiletries were lovely. The breakfast each day was a simple buffet but was delicious. It was a short 5 minute walk...
