I found this by change last year and checked in this year as well and I am sure its going to be a every year thing for me and my family. Its so close to Mamas beach and in the center of the Island. You have everything close to you, super market, coffee shop, bar, soublaki, ice cream place. The best part of the apartment is the balcony. Get a drink and relax at night. Thank you Joanna you've made a very cosy place for us.

I was met at the port by Joanne and enjoyed a four night stay in Apartment One which was spacious, very well equipped, nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. The shared outdoor area was equally spacious and overlooked the lovely garden, it was a pleasure to eat breakfast there or just sit and read a book. I appreciated the excellent air conditioner as the weather was very hot at the time of my stay. The location is excellent being easy strolling distance to the beach, supermarket, cafe's, shops and the port. There is an excellent bakery nearby, just the place for breakfast or lunch treats to enjoy on the outdoor area. Joanne is a helpful host and deserves excellent reviews for the high standard of accommodation that is given at Athina apartments.

We definitely couldn't ask for more when we settled for a short 3-day break in Apt. 4. There was lots of space in the sitting room with comfy sofas and a rocking chair, a long veranda with a breakfast table and side view on the magnificent port of Spetses town and a fully-equipped kitchen. Hot water and wi-fi readily available. Extra clean linen and blankets, too. Very convenient location just off the buzz of the seaside promenade, ideal for long walks on both directions of this extraordinary town. Jo has been extremely helpful and kind and always available on the phone.

Excellent apartment, fully equipped. Joanne was very helpful. She met us at the port and took us to the apartments. Excellent location for Spetses. It is about 10 min walk to the old port and 10 min walk to the new port. We will definitely come back. highly recommended.

Joanne will meet you at the port if you get in touch (internet problem for me prevented this happening , she was so apologetic and it was my fault) . The walk is about a 10 minute stroll to a nice quiet area . The property is so spacious , clean and white nicely decorated as well good sized bathroom area . There's a nice bakery just round the corner also a supermarket just along the front . Bars and restaurants very handy where you can sit and watch the world go by , nice walks , although the weather was not so good during our visit . You need to know anything ask Joanne .

Visited July 2011 and July 2013, both times we were met withopen arms, everything was clean and tidy, and all questions found an answer. Easy to communicate with owner already from abroad. Appartments located the best place - close to everything :) Will definately recommend and come back again some day.

Wonderful apartments of various shapes and sizes. Fully equipped and very homely feel to it. The hosts are great and very welcoming! No effort is too much!! The best location on the island!! Wifi is available and airco in the rooms. A very comfortable place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our baby boy and it was perfect! Lefteris is the owner and he met us at the port. Our apartment was lovely, crisp white linen, cute garden/outside space and a fantastic location with the town beach just a stones throw. Lovely bakery around the corner for morning pastries

We stayed in apartment 2, which was very clean and well appointed. There is a comfortable twin room and a lounge with bed settee and kitchen area. There is a shared outside terrace in the lovely garden. Joanne and Lefteris are very helpful and good hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Like other reviewers we made good use of the bakery and the nearby quad and bicycle rentals. The town beach is 50 metres away but there are lots of lovely beaches around the island. We were there, the weekend after the Armata festival, and although the island was quiet, the boats and buses had ceased, so be prepared to get around as the locals do, on some form of 2 or 4 wheels.

Loved staying here, great apartment (no.2) it was ideal for two people. Self catering was a bit of a struggle some times because the electric ring on the stove couldn't maintain a high enough heat but we just about coped and I don't think most people will cook as avidly as we do on holiday. It's a great location ...seconds away from town and decent swimming. Good aircon and good internet ...and we can only recommend these apartments very strongly. Spetses is very pretty but we found using the bus to go the beach a pain especially as the girl collecting the ticket money on the way back from Anagiri beach deliberately short changed us (why do they feel it necessary to scam people like this??) and sometimes the selection in the fish market was a bit hit and miss. The butcher in town did sell us some great veal steaks though. We would love to go back and have the upstairs flat next time.…
