From start to finish this holiday was fantastic! The hosts Iloni and Nikos are absolutely amazing and can’t do enough for you. The only downside and it’s not much really but it’s on a busy main road with no paths but the hotel and location makes up for that! We loved it that much we don’t want to go home 😞 We have already booked for next year though 😃😃

Is it a Greek thing? The hospitality on this island was just top tier and the owners definitely weren’t an exception. The owners of Maraki, Nikos and Elena, were amazing to me and my friends- nothing was too much trouble. We were met with delays and lost a day of our short holiday but their kindness made up for it. Even on the last day, when we feared our flight would be cancelled (it was only delayed by 2 hrs 59) they offered us a room . They sorted car hire for us, taxis and even dinner recommendations- I just wish we were there for longer!! The only vague down side is the close proximity to the road but if you’re like me and has a friend that likes to bash the kettle and thrash around at 8am (6am ENGLISH TIME!!!!!!) then that shouldn’t bother you. The pool is cute, the beer cold and the owners charming ! My favourite part was the Elena sharing her melon and pumpkin seeds with us at the beach. What a lovely family! Thanks for the memories xxx see u again I hope!!!

We had a wonderful few days at Villa Maraki. You feel so welcome from the moment you arrive. We were delayed so were very tired, but Nikos made us feel so relaxed and like nothing was too much bother. He helped with all our bags and let us leave our car in their small space for the night. The main parking is just over the road and really handy. The beach is also just a short 3min walk. The rooms were immaculate and a good size. We did have to pay 8euro/night for aircon though which felt a but much. We only had it on our last night but it made a huge difference. It should really come included if it's there. The cooking facilities are pretty basic so we ended up eating out most days, but you can certainly get by. Fridge is a good size and again, very clean, and you have all the utensils you will need for your stay. All in all a really great stay and our son lived in the pool! The only slight negative is that it is situated right on the main road, so there is road noise, hence the 4*, but you do get used to it. Enjoy your stay!! Xxx

We stayed here for a week. We've visited the bar many times but never been able to stay here. Was not disappointed. The warmest of welcomes, including a lovely little welcome drink. As soon as you get there you feel relaxed. We were in room 15 tip floor with a lovely view out to sea. Only slight downside the balcony was mainly shaded but meant the room kept cool, so that was good. The rooms were spacious, separate bedroom with a double bed. Cleaned everyday by a lovely lady. A wonderful wonderful trip made very special by a lovely family that host Would recommend and return in a heartbeat Super location close to beaches and all the restaurant and few mins from the bus stop to town.

Nikolai and Elona are two of the nicest people you could ever meet . Nothing is to much trouble . Studio very clean but had everything you need . Basic as is most of Greece. A few miles out of town but the bus runs every 15 mins and easy to get places . I can see why people go back Year after year. The welcome you get is second to none . (Watch out for that cheeky Nikolai ,Elona deserves a medal ) Would definitely go back . Loved it

Family run hotel, where nothing is too much trouble! The husband and wife who run these apartments are so welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is basic, but has everything you need, gives you that authentic greek experience. More importantly is clean, fresh and very well maintained. The drinks menu at the pool bar is extensive, and cocktails are made with fresh fruit! Location is slightly out of town, but it’s just a short bus ride away, which was never an issue. And it means that you are closest to some amazing beaches within a few minutes walk! They call the island a boomerang island, as people keep going back year after year. I know I’ll be visiting again, and hope to stay at villa Maraki

We didn’t stay here but found the bar on our first day. Firstly you won’t find more helpful or accommodating hosts than Nikolai and Elona, 2 of the nicest people on the island I’d say. The bar is lovely, the drinks delicious, and there are apartments that you can stay in. We would think about it for our next visit. Really lovely place

We have just had 10 nights here as a family of 4 with 2 young boys. From the first moment we were made so welcome by Nokia and Elena, nothing is too much trouble, lots of great suggestions on places to see and we booked a magical boat trip to nearby Skopelos through them. They also offer a full menu and drinks at the bar so even if you are not staying you can pop in at any time. The pool is great too. Fabulous location right opposite the beach, 3 supermarkets within a short walk and a great choice of restaurants nearby. The apartments are spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily. They are basic but have all you could need and beds are very comfortable and showers powerful. All have aircon. The top ones have a sea view. We loved it here! We hired a car and drive all over the island. Skiathos town has a great vibe at night too.

We stayed as a family of four with two teenagers. This was our first visit to Skiathos and we were not disappointed. The islandvis beautiful with many gorgeous beaches and the most friendly welcoming people. Above all we would like to thank Nikos and Eleanor at villa Maraki for being the perfect hosts, they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing is too much trouble. They work non stop but always have a lovely smile to greet you with, I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere so friendly Villa maraki is in a perfect location, opposite a lovely beach , with some gorgeous restaurants around. We got taxis to town or hired a car , as buses are too busy. The town is very cosmopolitan and has a great vibe in tge evening. We will most certainly be returning
