We had a fantastic stay here. Nicos and his wife are perfect hosts. Little touches like being welcomed with a drink while you get checked in and a shot with Nicos when you leave are nice touches. the beach is just over the road and some great places to eat within easy walking distance. The bus to Skiathis town is simple . Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Villa Maraki for a week at the end of August as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children (15&9). The hotel is ideally located in Agia Paraskevi within very easy walking distance of the beach (directly opposite), lots of tavernas and bars. The room itself was clean and nicely set out with lots of wardrobe space. The shower was as in some Greek properties not fixed high on the wall to stand under (if that makes sense) but we had fallen foul of this last year so this year we took a very handy £4 suction shower head holder and positioned it ourselves. Plenty of hot water at all times of the day, plenty of towels, well stocked self catering kitchen area (full size fridge) and comfortable beds. Nicos and his wife are very friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. The pool area was spotless and the bar had a great range of drinks and food (homemade pizzas were fab) The only reason I have not marked this a 5 is due to the balcony. As we travelled self catering in the evenings we like to sit on the balcony with a drink, snacks and play cards with the kids but we struggled to sit two of us on this balcony and therefore couldn't use it. The pictures on JET2 when we booked do not show this and I guess that is down to JET2 not the hotel but I would have thought a family room for 4 would have a balcony to seat 4. Apart from that we would happily stay here again and would highly recommend.

Booked with Jet2 very good value for money deserves more than the 2 stars they have awarded it. The welcome from Elonda & Niko was warm and friendly the rooms are cleaned everyday and have great views out over the sea with a spacious balcony. Closest beach 5 mins walk and others within 30min walk. The village has ample restaurants if you don't want to leave and 3 supermarkets. Jimmy's Trevena next door is especially good and the prices are all much the same. The local bus stops just along the road 2 euros to travel either way, either to Skiathos Town which has a maze of beautiful traditional back street and a bustling and vibrant port area a must to visit if only once and the other way takes you the busiest beach on the island starts with a K sorry cant remember the name from which you can get a water taxi back to Skiathos Town. We will be back !!!!

It started with a warm, smiling welcome from Nikos and Aleona. The studio room was great and spacious. The room was equipped with everything that you would expect from a greek studio. The decor was fresh, and there were some nice homely touches, which was a good sign that they wanted you to have a great stay. The rooms were immaculately cleaned with frequent linen changes. There was always plenty of hot water. The pool and surrounding ar areas were always clean, and a nice mixture of loungers, chairs, and tables to suit eating, sitting for a drink, etc. The range of food was great for a pool bar. We only salad lunch or breakfast, but always tatsy and well presented. The bar was popular (not noisy), and there were lots of previous guests that could not get rooms came to use the bar because of the warm welcome. Nikos and Aleona clearly want everyone to have a great time in their own understated way. Hospitality at its best. A great relaxing location, 5 min walk to the beach with plenty of good tavernas to choose from nearby. Great and very frequent bus service for town and other beaches (€2 single) We will definitely be returning to Villa Maraki.

Nikos & Elona are lovely hosts and make you feel so welcome. We arrived to a complimentary Mythos which started our 10 day stay off perfectly. The pool is immaculate, the rooms are very clean and the bar area is buzzing but not loud. We loved the relax feel and no one reserving sun loungers!! We found a lot of people not staying at the hotel came to eat, drink and swim here because it’s the best in the area. It’s only a few minutes walk to the beach and I can recommend Bamboon bar for some lunch. There’s also a little shack on the beach for drinks, sandwiches, ice creams etc. she’s really reasonably priced and funny.. Fantastic holiday is all I can say :) thank you from Tom, Holly & Charlie

Ideally situated over the road from the beach, we found Villa Maraki ideally positioned to enjoy the immediate area and beyond. welcomed with complimentary Beers by Elona, the atmosphere is so friendly, you feel the relaxation seep in to your soul. we were shown to our maisonette by Nikos, where we were blown away with our accommodation and the views across the sea where something else, ask for the top floor if possible! Nikos and Elona are so nice and friendly and will do anything for you. so many people return year after year, and you can see why. the pool is so inviting and there were always plenty of sunbeds. there are plenty of Tavernas so close by, our favourites were Jimmys (next door) and Orsa just 150M down the road. bus stop 15 is alos a short walk away and only 2euro each to town. I highly recommend Villa Maraki, if you want to be spoilt in Skiathos.

Just returned from a weeks stay with our 2 daughters who had their own studio. Elena and Nico were brilliant hosts. They both work so hard and will go the extra mile to make your stay special. The rooms are clean and comfortable and cleaned every day. The villa is opposite the lovely beach and there a lots of restaurants nearby. We took the bus to Skiathos town several times which is really lively and vibrant. We visited the Parissis winery and did the Mama boat trip which are both excellent We will be returning Thankyou

Nikos and Elena our fantastic hosts. The rooms are cleaned and made up every day. The pool and bar area are fantastic. Plenty of great restaurants nearby the large beach is just over the road or Kolios down by bus stop 15 which is the better beach but beware there are no foot paths either side of the road, and it can also be quite dangerous crossing as people on quad bikes and motorbikes come flying round the corners also when a large lorry comes past, you tend to cringe the only reason I didn’t give five stars was the shower in our room was a nightmare it needs updating. You can’t use the shower hands-free as the mounting bracket is next to the tap. so you have to hold it with one hand and try and wash yourself with the the other. Also it’s just a curtain which soaks the whole bathroom and it’s tiny also, if you have any issues, there are quite a few steps up to some of the rooms.
