Although i have stayed here several times and i have travelled to many other places around the world i feel most at home and relaxed at the oasis and Skiathos and that is down to the wonderful family and staff.
Although i knew things would not be as usual due to covid for example some food services and entertainment not available but that did not matter the welcome was still fantastic and we were looked after nothing too much trouble .
The rooms were spotless and so was everywhere else free wifi and safe hair drier in room loads of loungers scattered around lovely well kept gardens and just in case anyone was worried yes there was sanitiser dotted around for guests to use and yes on arrival we were greeted with a freebie drink bags taken to room by staff .
We hired a car for three days which George helped us with and got us a great deal which is a great way to see the island.
Oasis 5-10 mins from town 5 mins from airport supermarket about a 5 min walk away and there are shopping trollies for guests to use if they go to supermarket.
Had a another great week and again gutted to leave but have to say once again a big thankyou to Mike,George,Eleni and all the staff for looking after us so well in difficult circumstances.
Please all stay safe during the winter and hope to see you all very soon

First time staying at Oasis and was greeted by Mike on arrival, handed a a drink and he then told us all about the complex, how to get into town, the buses etc Although we are not newcomers to Skiathos, it was really useful and the one thing we liked about Mike is that he is a straight taking guy and was keen for us to enjoy our stay.

Our room/suite was great, bigger than others we had in other places we had stayed. It had a well equipped kitchen area, with a breakfast bar and stools, toaster, hobs, microwave and a full size fridge/freezer, all the utensils/pans/crockery/glasses etc you may need to cook up a meal. The bathroom had a great shower, hairdryer, shaving socket, shaving mirror, and nice large mirror. We had two bedrooms and the beds were comfy and lots of spare pillows which was nice.

The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily with towels changed every three days or sooner if required, we appreciated this very much.

The pool are was nice with plenty of sunbeds and nice comfy seating areas in the shade if required. An inside area contained a fab expensive pool table which was free to use. A side room had a huge library of books to use/borrow etc and even a pc for you to use for internet etc. Wifi coverage was good, and managed to get signal in the suite. The bar area was nice, pretty much any drink available, hot drinks and cold, toasties are available too.

The Oasis is in a fab location for walking into town only 10mins and has the biggest of the islands supermarkets only 10mins walk away (oasis even have trolleys you can use if you want too).

The staff at Oasis are lovely, a great bunch and are work so hard to help you have a good stay, from the ground staff, cleaners, to the bar staff, all are super hard working, polite and approachable.

The atmosphere at Oasis is laid back and friendly, lots of the people who stay there are regulars and it has a nice family vibe, kids are welcomed here and it is a safe place for them.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend to others and will return to stay at Oasis.

I have tried to include as much detail as I can in this review.

Many thanks to all at Oasis for making us welcome and helping us have a great holiday!

After all the uncertainty of the last 18 months, to return to Skiathos was a dream and these apartments helped make the dream a reality. We have stayed in this area in the past, but first time here, so we know we like the area, so convenient for everything, but also so peaceful surrounded by goats, chickens and adorable cats and kittens.

The two bed roomed apartment appeared quite basic, normal for Greece, but it had so much more than usual including a free safe box, air conditioning fans, a proper oven and hob, large fridge freezer and the best shower we have enjoyed in Greece. Without doubt the tiles needed a re grout and the apartment on the whole needs a bit of an update, but considering the nightmare the last 18 months has been for Mike and other owners, I am sure this will happen when things improve as he is rightly so proud of his property.

The only disappointing things were the pool, which had a concrete base, never been in a pool that wasn't tiled, and I found it quite uncomfortable, and also the amount of smoking allowed everywhere including inside apartments and bar, as a non smoker I thought those days were behind us, but a heaven for smokers, such as our neighbour, causing us to make sure the door and windows were constantly closed to keep the smell out of our apartment, not ideal, but it didn't spoil our return to this beautiful island.

I have done two weeks and sitting on the balcony at oasis apartments watching the sun go down wishing I could stay longer . These apartments are a 10 minute walk to the town , 5 minute walk to sea front restaurants .
Upon arrival Mike the manager greeted us with a very informative talk about the hotel and the island and a complimentary drink . His sense of humour and wit were brilliant and instantly made you feel relaxed . He asked if we had any issues to ask him and he would sort it , true to his word he was very approachable and helpful although we didn’t have any issues .
The grounds are beautiful . There were plenty of loungers with space in between not to be crammed in . I spent every afternoon in the part shaded hammocks which were lovely .
The pool is small but adequate and clean . The bar staff were brilliant and spoke very good English they were there early in the morning until 2am . The pool table / table tennis / table football were all available and free ! Something I have never come across on any other holiday . There is a children’s park but there were no young children on our stay so wasn’t being used . Mike keeps a room as a library where there’s over 100 books available to swap or use . There’s tv screens which the staff are happy to put any sport on for you . Poolside toilets were always clean with shower if you needed to use for late checkout .
The rooms are basic Greek which I love. There’s a hairdryer / air con ( chargeable ) fridge / microwave/ kettle / hob and plenty of kitchen Utensils with cups and plates .
We always had hot water for showers . Plenty of power points . The room was cleaned and bins emptied daily. Fresh towels always provided daily .
Unfortunately there are no poolside snacks other than toasties however there are two big supermarkets left and right that have a good selection .
Bus stop one is two minute walk from front of apartments and you can travel to koukanaris beach for €3 nearer beaches were less .
Overall oasis apartments have been lovely , staff are great , Mike is there walking around everyday to say hello which goes a long way. We would definitely return and really can’t understand why there would be any bad reviews this place has everything you need for a relaxing , chilled holiday . Thank you Mike and all his staff for making good memories for our party .

Just returned from a last minute stay at the Oasis Studios. On arrival we was made to feel very welcome by the owner, he explained the best route to the port and into town. Rooms are typically Greek, small but adequate bathroom, plenty of hot water, beds are quite hard but that’s normal for Greece. Kitchen area was more than adequate with a toaster and microwave supplied along with the usual hob. Air con or fans are available on request. Our room had plenty of coat hangers which is always a bonus. Pool and bar area is nice with lots of sunbeds and hammocks around the pool and gardens.
It was very quiet whilst we as there due to covid so the pool bar wasn’t serving a full menu. But it didn’t matter as the new port restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away.
The oasis is a great base to explore the island by hire car or bus during the day. Then enjoy a leisurely flat walk along the harbour past the yachts into town in the evening.

When we first arrived we were a little unsure on Oasis, it’s not the usual type of place we stay and this is down to our lack of research / options on TUI with a last minute booking in Skiathos.

We explained to Mike how we felt about our room and could see instantly how important the customers satisfaction is to him, he went out of his way to move us into a family room so that we could have a double bed and then further moved us to a double room as the family room became booked. We moved to U5 and it did the job, we were happy that it had a double bed and we were very nearby to the town.

As mentioned above, we’re used to a different style of hotel, with less of a family/friendly vibe but it grew on us. They have a lovely dog named Talos that I grew very fond of and having lost a dog within the last year it was warming to be able to go give Talos a cuddle each day.

Mike, George and Elena were very welcoming and friendly, George and Elena took us out on a boat trip to Lalaria which ended up being one of our favourite days, Mike drove us to the dog shelter on my birthday when we couldn’t get any taxi to take us there and went the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our stay in Skiathos.

Reading the reviews below I can 100% say that the accusations of Mike not being friendly is wrong, he was always smiling, making effort with people around the pool and a very charismatic man.

Elena was one of the sweetest people we came across in Skiathos, such a friendly face and very caring nature.

Thank you Oasis x

Ps. If you stay here please feed the little kittens down the lane on the back passage to the harbour, I miss them.

Another great stay at The Oasis. This was our 2nd visit and won’t be the last.
Mike greeted us on arrival and offered us a drink of our choice and gave us info on the apartments and beautiful Skiathos Town.
Our room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The cleaner came in daily, towels and bed linen were changed every couple of days.
The apartments are in an ideal location, just a short walk from Skiathos Town.
Thank you Mike and team for making us welcome. We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Totally unique, Mike the owner has really thought about every aspect of peoples stay here from toaster microwave lockable draw in the room mop and bucket plus brush so inbetween the excellent cleaning service if you have a spill yu can sort it out. Balconies are really large. Chairs are not the normal plastic crap but cloth super comfortable with a good size table.
Each apartment has a high side wall either side so not overlooked by your neighbours.
The bar area is old style british pub with pool table and loads of soft seating areas inside.
Numerous outside seating areas with hammocks and single tree seats also also a barbecue area.Mike has put in a room with a computer and also a library loads of books. Pool is a good sized with lots of sun beds around the pool and also in the garden area.
Location to the main town is a 5 minute walk all on the flat. You have 2 large supermarkets 200 metres left of main entrance and the other 300 metres right.
must mention excellent bar staff and a special mention to George the owners son a really nice young man and a credit to his parents. Will be returning to these apartments in the future and would not go anywhere else.

We were very much looking forward to our holiday at the Oasis having read the reviews.
In the current climate we expected that covid would be taken seriously. The staff told us, as we got off the coach that we did not need masks. We were crowded together in the bar area,(around thirty of us ) for a welcome drink and a talk from the owner. He started by telling us that the hotel was taking a very relaxed approach to coved. The table had wet drink stains from its previous occupants. We were there a good length of time while the owner told us about the hotel and the island. During that time we saw no evidence of cleaning or sanitation. The owner told us that his hotel was full but that his usual 16 staff had been cut to just 4. Perhaps that was why cleaning routines weren’t evident.
We were then shown to our room. Our room had not been cleaned never mind sanitised and we did not feel safe. It was really bad. It needed a deep clean. There were plastic bags from previous occupants stuffed behind the TV and down the side of and inside the wardrobe. Thick dust and mildew on lights and work surfaces. Rusty cooker ring dirty looking toaster kettle and microwave. Splashes and what looked like toothpaste smeared on the bathroom walls-and door. Altogether not fit for purpose. In many visits to Greece we had never seen anything like it. We can only think that other people’s rooms were not like this or the hotel wouldn’t be so popular. We are both in our sixties and at higher risk. We had booked through a very prominent tour operator and had been confident that our safety would be taken seriously.
Since we had already been told that the hotel was full we didn’t ask to change rooms and we handed in our keys and left.

hi. we have a motto we run this business here and it is that guest is always correct. so instead of me asking you why you came away on holiday and not stayed at home and watch the news about covid and masks, and people on the dangerous age zones......... i will ask instead : facts: very large welcome meeting= large arrival of new guests, well now none other than you left us neither from this welcome meeting or any previous this year............ of course they are all wrong and you are the person with all the right choices, specially the one of writing this here review and making certain we got low score. i told about the number of staff to xplain the closed restaurant, also no activities held here this summer, i inspected the cleaning and found it satisfactory, you were allocated o very decent studio upstairs, now look i did not search for tooth- past marks, but the plastic next to tv is to use for winter storage....... anyway sorry to have missed your inspection, so many trips to greece and never before met this particular badness!!!!! the one thing that is bad , the rusty cooker ring, every week with the new arrivals we paint the rust, only to find it there again next week and so on, from the photo easily you can see the one ring painted and no rust, hey the spray paint finished and he plant to get some next day, after all very near the last week of operations, so one ring painted and good, the other one rusty, you judge to easily mate, cheers......

I booked a last minute break for myself and my 17 year old daughter. We were welcomed by Mike on arrival who provided us with a very useful map of the town and information on getting around and finding our feet, as it was our first time in Skiathos.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful the apartments are typically Greek basic style but have everything you need we paid for the air conditioning which was very reasonable for the week. Although, basic they were clean, towels and bedding changed regularly and good quality!
Couldn’t fault this place perfect location for easy access into the heart of Skiathos Town and the beautiful harbour with its bars and restaurants. To top it off Mike went above and beyond rather than book us a taxi to take us to the airport he threw our luggage in his truck and drove us to the airport himself! Thanks Mike 😊!

We visited this complex in 2023, and although it could do with a coat of paint, we found it perfect for our needs. Mike, the owner is always keen to resolve any issues that may arise. Our room was U1, a block of 5 units. The grounds are huge, there are many many sun beds, the pool is small, but never that busy. The town centre is a 5 minute walk away. We have already booked for this year.
