I had a lovely stay here in August with my friend. We were greeted by Mike and he gave us a very useful and extensive talk about the local area which really helped us in getting our bearings. It’s just over a five minute walk from the bus station and the supermarket and a quick cut through to the new port. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy and there is a bar round by the pool serving drinks and toasted sandwiches. The Oasis is in a great central location, I would revisit!

On arrival to Oasis we were instantly greeted by staff members and had our welcome meeting with Mike. During this he gave us a map of the island and showed us the best not to miss places and any short cuts we could take to get around. The rooms were clean and we were provided with everything needed to get us started on our stay. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk down the road so very accessible to get essentials and food. We were showed a cut through to the port which was about a 5 minute walk and you came straight out near a long row of gorgeous restaurants that overlook the water. During our trip here, I unfortunately needed to attend the hospital but the staff here were more than amazing! When I asked them for directions, they instantly rang Mike and within 5 minutes he had arrived and took us to the hospital. He never left our side once and helped us to translate English to Greek/ vice versa. He even took me straight to the pharmacy to get medication I needed. We cannot thank Mike enough for what he did and how kind of him it was to take us and stay with us. We have already recommended these apartments to our friends and family and next time we visit the island we will most definitely be returning! We had an amazing holiday!

Mike the owner is really nice bloke. Welcoming and helpful. Staff are great too. The hotel is not 5 star but they never claim to be. It's quirky and pretty. Nice and quiet. The rooms are basic but nice and the room we had had a fantastic view. The pool was great and clean. Plenty of sunbeds all with cushions and parasol. There's children's play area and lots of hammocks to chill out on. The food is basic but nice. Everything is within easy walking distance as Mike will tell you at welcome meeting and you will be told a few stories. I reccomend this place to everyone. Fantastic.

As a couple who love Greece and holiday in Greece at least twice a year we are so happy to have spent a week in these lovely apartments. The owner Mike goes above and beyond to make your holiday a lovely experience. He sat us all down on arrival with a free drink of our choice and gave us a chat about the local area. The short cuts to town, places to visit. You wouldn't get this from a big hotel. The gardens are unique, really quaint, like I've never seen before. Super comfy sun loungers, hammocks, lovely bar area, free pool table, table tennis and table football. The rooms are basic (traditional greek) but clean and everything you need, brilliant power shower with lots of space, hair dryer, free safe. We could see the planes coming in to land from our balcony which was an added bonus. The whole team of staff and family are lovely. The location is perfect, just on the edge of town. A short 10 minute walk to town one way and to the end of the runway to see the planes landing the other way. In my opinion this is a hidden little gem. Will highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Tired looking accommodation  which is really in need of updating and a good clean. Rooms were not cleaned once in the two weeks we were there. There was a brush and mop on the balcony which we were expected  to clean ourselves. Towels and bed linen were changed every three days. At one point I approached the cleaner to change them after three days and he said next change is Monday from the Thursday. Eventually we had them changed  after four days which really isn't  acceptable. The library is dirty and dusty along with the gym area with equipment  which should be condemned. We were  there when storm Daniel arrived and had no contact off Mike or his staff about  our wellbeing. We had no supplies in and wasn't even asked if we required  anything  from the supermarket  when he took three couples on the Tuesday who'd arrived on the Monday. Only food they sold was toasties so had to make do with them. Cushions  were left on the sunbeds  during  the storm and the staff couldn't  even be bothered  to take them off and store them away  till the storm was over, they were soaked through. When the storm  passed  and we wanted to sunbathe  we had to pull the cushions off the sunbeds and dry them out. It's a shame the place is looking  so run down as it would  look  great with a little TLC  as in a great  location  and lovely gardens. Tui need to think again about advertising these apartments as in my view a 2 star rating is too high of a grade for this accommodation!

hi, the fallen angel!!! This should be your nickname! First i read all your other reviews and in all of them you gave the lowest score possible, this means that you're either a very difficult person, or very unlucky , perhaps both options as during yr stay the worst storm ever hit us. Do you really expect me to go around all the rooms during the heavy rain and ask people my self if they wished for help? i helped with many that asked me You never came to the bar, to ask for anything, my cleaner told me of your bad-mouthing him, for the change he did not want to return to your room, he felt helpless you talked to him in very bad manner, i should have come and say to you, but i managed to sooth him, you lie about the dates except during the 3 days of the storm we could not wash and bring fresh sheets and towels, poor lad had to work so hard during storm he had to listen to you bitch about room cleaning as well, what can i say, we never take the cushions of the sunbeds, they always dry within a day or so, plus they get washed this way, and are clean to accommodate a nice person like you!!! Actually i should write about your husbands' behaviour with the girl ( she's just 18) working in our bar , and the improper winks and words, she told me she wanted to hit him, he was over 50. and shameless , but ill keep the gory details out of these here pages, I've had enough of this.......

Thank you Mike and the whole team for looking after us in the storm Daniel. As soon as we arrived we felt at home, the welcome meeting that Mike hosts is informative and really useful to enable you to get the best from your holiday. We had a great night in the bar meeting others, the drinks were superb and reasonably priced. The location is fantastic and such an easy walk into town, the pool and garden area is lovely with plenty of sun loungers to relax. We look forward to visiting again in the future. See you next time

Well what can I say, we just got home after being out there in the storms! Mike went out of his way to make sure we were safe took us wherever we needed to go in his jeep and kept us at the hotel until we were able to fly home. The oasis is very authentic if you want a true Greek holiday you should give it a try the rooms are clean there’s plenty of sun-beds and not far away from the town. Mostly thanks to mike and the staff for making a stressful time a little easier. I would return

hi, the most honest guests ever!!! the lack of phones and internet made us during the storm hrs ask only for cash, we did an exemption for you, and you came through wanting to walk in the rain to town for cash!! Actually, i had written the debt off! so thank you even more!!!

We stayed here as a family of 4 for 2-weeks from the middle of August and absolutely loved our time at Oasis. I sincerely hope Mike, staff and customers are OK following the storm in the days following our departure! We found it to be relaxed, friendly, ideally situated and with a loyal base of returning customers - which is testament in itself to what's on offer. Mike and his staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The welcome chat from Mike was hugely informative - with essential hints, tips and recommendations. An abundance of sun loungers, both around the pool and on the surrounding grass - never even a hint of "towels down"! Lovely grounds with loads of green space. Rooms more than decent - kitchen cooking space small, but adequate. We hired air con for one room which was reasonably priced and a godsend for our boys. And the resort and island itself itself - stunning. Thanks Mike and team!

It really is an Oasis, for many years going to Skiathos this was the first time I actually got a room in the Oasis because it gets booked up so fast, I have stayed in town many times local to this beautiful place, On my first encounter Mike the owner and his wife Eleni took my son who was about 14 at the time all over the Island with his son George, who was a similar age,( my son is now 30) He took us to my first Skiathos beech Xanomos, I have always gone round to use the pool on every visit and felt at home, I've used the hammocks sun beds, bought drinks at the bar and been made more than welcome even though i wasn't staying there, it really is a family, open house to all, The Gardens are beautiful the whole place so relaxing, Yes it is not a five star but in my eyes its better, It's a typical Greek 2 star accommodation, After arriving this August my luggage didn't turn up for the whole 2 weeks, (long story) Mike the owner took me clothes shopping for replacement's How happy I was to have this Wonderful guy go out of his way to make sure my holiday wasn't spoilt, you just wouldn't get this at the big 5 star accommodation, it really is the personal touch that matters, where can else you go for a swim then sit on comfy cushion chairs in the bar area in Wet swimwear and cool down, the staff are lovely, the whole team are so friendly and hard working. I met lots of lovely people and can still hear the laughter in my mind. especially one of the guests who offered to lend me some boxer shorts because of my lost luggage, i was given lots of toiletries and other items from the other guests to get me through, don't take notice of the petty reviews, there is room for every one, and every one is welcome, lots of sun beds and the pool is spotless, I would ask anyone who is staying in town or wanting to visit Please go and see for yourself, go and have a relaxing day in the pool and sunbathe in the beautiful gardens Have a cool drink at the bar and chill out, you will be so glad you did. Thank you Mike and the team. I had a fantastic time Ellen

We stayed at your apartment on the 6th August for 1 week we are the three ladies you have referred to on a recent TripAdvisor review. May I first assure you that we did not write any reviews on your property . If we had any intention of doing so, we would have used our own profiles. We were pleased that you rectified the issues we had in the apartment to the best of your abilities. We enjoyed our time in Skiathos and your property being so close to all the local amenities. I think you may need to check in the future who has actually wrote the review before assuming and causing unnecessary bad feelings. I wish you and your family the best for your future
