Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent location between station, waterfront and old city center. Great breakfast, with cool view on the 10th floor. I had a room on the 9th floor with enough space and a nice view on the city. Hotel staff was very kind and service oriented. Very functional hotel.

Good location close to downtown, harbor and public transport. Friendly check-in staff Clean but worn down hotel room. Good comfortable bed but very poor duvet. Small bathroom where the toilet and bathroom door is almost in the way of each other. Very poor sound insulation, I could hear every time someone opened and close their door, when they talked in the room next to me, and traffic noise from the street. I was in a room on floor 9 facing the water. Good breakfast on floor 10 with both hot and cold choices, and very friendly staff

Lovely. Stayed for two nights. Clean welcoming and a decent breakfast. Highly recommend. Close to town with lots to offer. Online checking with a digital key and we also arranged the rooftop parking which was an experience in its self. The room was clean and comfortable with two small duvets which was an inspiration. Tea and coffee available with good cupboard’s.

Hotel Atlantic is a cozy hotel in Aarhus. The rooms are nice, but they're missing a mini-bar/fridge. We didn't find out how to a just the temperaturen in the rooms, so they were too warm. And the bathroom was too cold. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

First of all, I attached a photo for an insect moving on my pillow so the hygiene is the worst. No AC or mini bar/ fridge is available. The staff are not friendly nor helpful at all except for one man. I arrived at the hotel on Sunday which is obviously a dayoff, I gave them euros at first they refused and mentioned I should change it and the lady at the reception told me there is an exchange center near the mall. However, obviously she didn’t tell me that’s it’s closed as it’s the dayoff. Not helpful or friendly just doing the job for the sake of the money I guess. I need to exclude one man working at the reception Friday 14th at 4:00 AM as he was extremely friendly and helpful he helped me with a tape to fix a problem in my luggage.

This hotel has a good location in the city, be aware of expensive parking lots, the staff is really very nice. We had a comfortable room with a spendid view on the water. The bathroom is really outdated and this was not what we expected. Carpet in the hall is not realyy very dirty but needs a cleaning. Breakfast is more than good and as the restaurant on the topfloor is not large enough they work with timeslots. The quality of the breakfast compensates for the waiting time and the people work really very hard to please the guests.

Excellent citytrip hotel. Nothing special or too luxurious, but very good for it’s price and very friendly staff. I would give 4 stars instead of 5 but wanted to compensate the (imo) undeserved 1 star rating of an unhappy earlier guest due to not having a safe in the room. Btw, breakfast is very good too!

Room Tip: Maybe bring earplugs if you like to sleep with the window open. The seagulls can be pretty loud ; )

Superficially, the Hotel Atlantic is a very attractive property. The rooms are modern, clean, modern looking, and quiet The breakfast room offers a wonderful view of the city. And, then: the breakfast food is of pedestrian quality. Most of all, the rooms lack some expected amenities: There is no safe (a bank type safety box is available in the lobby on a first-come, first served basis),; there are no clocks and no phone.
