citizenM's first Nordic hotel opens in Copenhagen! The Danes are considered the happiest people in the world and our concept of affordable luxury is a perfect fit. The signature citizenM touches are all present: smart rooms with humongous beds, one-minute check-in and check-out, free fast Wi-Fi, and a rain shower to wake up the sleepiest jet-lagger. Best of all, we are adding a little twist! Our famous living room (not a lobby) will be on the top floor. The first thing you'll see at arrival will be a one-of-a-kind view of the Copenhagen city centre.

Neighbourhood
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Ultra-modern, hip and cool. Though, if I'm being honest, a little too cool for me. Regardless, the room is spotless, comfortable and luxurious in it's own Kubrickian way. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the location can't be beat.

Our room faced a row of buildings. Not much of a view but we loved the large window and natural light.

My husband and I are traveling with our 8 yr old son. Is one child allowed in the room? Thank you!
I don’t believe so. Though it’s worth asking them. Not seen any info in the room showing a child’s bed but the bed itself would comfortably fit 3 adults 👍

Are there hairdryers in the room or bathroom?
Yes and a fridge! No kettle though

It was 139 dkk if you book it before, or 160 on the day. Possibly a little expensive, however it was a) worth it as it was lovely and b) is probably cheaper than eating outside. We left our luggage, it was no issue, the staff take it off you and give you a tag for each bag. Safely store it for you and picking it up was no bother. Free of charge. I totally recommend this place!
