Stayed there during September 2009. The price was great for such location and service. The room is nice, the area is very quiet. 5 minutes walk from the royal palace. I had to go every day to UN office - around 20 minutes walk through the park area was very convenient. The hosts are very nice - I was allowed... More

Price was right as Copenhagen is very expensive. Hosts were nice and even did some laundry for us. Very helpful with travel directions. You can easily walk to everything in Copenhagen but public transportation is within a couple of blocks. Three rooms and only one bath can make it crowded. Kitchen is adequately stocked for breakfast which you prepare for... More

We had a great stay at De La Cour. As a group of three, we found the extra space (living room, kitchen, etc.) to be a big benefit. As there are only three rooms at De La Cour, we didn't have to compete for the common space. We had free reign and found it very relaxing. Holgar was very helpful... More

I just didnt like the fact that his office was out in the middle of the main floor so if you wanted to shower you had to walk back and forth past... More

Nice place. De La Cours are gracious and kind hosts; they are there and helpful if you need them but keep to themselves otherwise so you have your privacy. The place is super clean and serene, decorated with Asian artifacts. Besides the bedroom, you can also use the living room, which added to our comfort significantly. Beds- very comfortable. Breakfast-... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
