We spent three nights at the Phoenix in February. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from lots of tourist spots. We upgraded our room and had a lovely third floor room overlooking the dome of the Marble Church. There were room refurbishments going on around us and we were moved to a second...

It is definitely not a 4 stars hotel, I've seen better facilities for the same amount of money. The room was too small to call it a 4 stars and the toilet should be renovated. Bad smell in the main hall too, everyday!

We booked a family room so had twin beds with an extra single. The room wasn't huge but it was very comfortable and clean. The ceiling was high so it didn't feel cramped. 3 of us were happy in there. The bathroom was nice and great water pressure/temperature. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities. This would...

This hotel has one of the best locations in Copenhagen, not the least if you are interested in art and design. It looks quite grand, but most of it is rather dull. The bed linen is cheap, the breakfast - and the breakfast room below normal Scandinavian standard. It is simply not worth the price!

Booked an Executive Room with a bottle of white wine waiting in the room upon arrival. The room was nice, and the wine was cold. A good start on a weekend vacation in Copenhagen. The hotel is close to the cosy pubs and restaurant area Nyhavn, as well as the shopping district Strøget. A very good option for a stay...

This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the Kongens Nytorv metro and the Stroget shopping area. It is also only a couple blocks to Amalienborg Palace. The hotel has a very welcoming reception area and the staff was very kind and helpful to an older lady traveling alone. My room was very clean, comfortable and larger than some...

We stayed there in transit from London. Having had a long flight delays, we spend only a short night there. The room was fine, with a (small) double bed. The overall décor was a bit tired but ok for a short stay. Although we haven't been able to explore more of the hotel and its surroundings, I must say that...

The Phoenix is a three star hotel at best. Quality of rooms way below standard for a four star. My room was old and shabby - electrical extension cables laid across the floor, cabling for TV crudely stick to the wall, no heating controls. The bathroom was the worst - no heating so it was FREEZING in the morning, and...
