Andersen Hotel was centrally located; two blocks from the City Center train station and a few blocks from the pedestrian mall which leads you to several Copenhagen sights. The room was small but there was plenty of room for two people and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the room price...

We stayed here for one night in January and we were quite impressed. décor was a little wild, but in a good way if you like patterns and pink, etc. Very close to strip clubs, etc, so location suits décor. If you walk one way you head to lots of shops, etc, so location good for this and station, but...

Enjoyed this hotel stay very much, it's a very stylish hotel, the staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the 'happy hour' free glass of wine :). Breakfast was continental style and tasty, wifi was free and fast. Centrally located, but I'd recommend renting bikes.

It is always difficult to choose accommodation when one doesn't know a city. However, for us this turned out to be a good choice for lots of reasons. The Andersen is situated close to the main station, round the corner from an area with lots of eating places (the former meat packing district) and within easy walking distance to the...

We ended up here by default as we had booked a suite at the Absalon-the Andersens sister )and livelier hotel). The previous guests at the Absalon had refused to get out or as the desk manager put it they had taken a very late check out. The Anderson hotel is just across the road from the Absalon and 5 minutes...

Arrived at 9.30pm, Jonathon could not have been more accommodating. He recommended a bar to grab a late meal, it was very good. The hospitality at the hotel was first class, although I was disappointed with the size of the room, however remembered it was a boutique hotel. We were offered a junior suite however remained where we were, it...

I would highly recommend a stay here - the staff are so friendly, helpful and nice - you really could not wish for more. Before we arrived Lara was very helpful with restuarant recommendations. They also very kindly gave us a room upgrade as we were celebrating my partner's birthday, and also a fruit plate and a card, which was...

Stayed here over a few nights early Feb. Hotel is beautiful with huge comfortable beds in the rooms and snacks/drinks on the stairs if you walk up.👍🏻 We were situated at the back of the hotel on the 5th floor and it was so quiet. Room was spotless and a delight to spend time in. Lara on reception was lovely...

Chosen for its central location we were also astounded by the friendly welcome by Kasper (and Anders) who made our stay feel very valued. The location was excellent (Station 200m), the service very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable (though 2 single duvets on double bed a little different) and the extras - brilliant! The extras included a...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
