We have been Marriott Platinum rewards members for a number of years. Have stayed in Marriotts all over the world. I have to say. This by far the nicest, cleanest, most magnificent views hotel, we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.
First visit to Copenhagen and feeling lucky that i selected this hotel. Close to the downtown (walk distance) but located in a quite area so you don't feel the noise/rush of this cosmopolitan city. Got a room with waterfront view and it was huge and...More
The staff were brilliant! The receptionist was very welcoming and professional and brought a bottle of wine to the room when she heard that the trip was for a special occasion. The concierge and breakfast team were also very friendly and genuinely helpful.
Great location, modern, and comfortable hotel. Nice views on the river. Helpful staff - didn't really eat any meals there, but there are plenty of places nearby for all types of foods. Public transportation is nearby (we didn't rent a car) with straightforward access to...More
Room was huge! Location was great! This is where you want to stay if you want to walk everywhere. Mind you it was raining slightly but the hotel had umbrellas you could use for the day. The view from the room was beautiful.
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

I didn't notice any local laundry facilities, but the hotel is also in a high rent district. If you have a car, the hotel concierge can direct you to an appropriate place. I didn't see any facilities within walking distance.
