We had to wait in the queue for over an hour to check in. When it was our turn we were told that they they were overbooked. We were a group of 12 people and had booked 6 rooms. We were being given 2 rooms...More
Too hot. No aircondition. Asked for 3 beds, only got 2 beds. Took alot of time to find room. Used key card 6 times before it worked. Trainstop right next to the windows made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was good though, great that we...More
I rarely write a really really negative review for a hotel but in DGI-byens’ case I’m happy to make an exception. The hotel was unhelpful, unaccommodating, unfriendly. So much for Danish hospitality. I will never book there again.
We had a booking at this place for 6 rooms before 45 days and they gave away the rooms to other guest . Most unapologetic for their own goof up. Our booking was done but they said they were overbooked and put 10 of us...More
The hotel is well placed in Copenhagen. Just an 8 minutes walk from the train station and Tivoli, and close to the Strøget shopping street. Good breakfast in a spacey restaurant, in house swimming pool and bowling also. However, we were lucky with the weather...More
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
