This hotel is located just down the street from the central train station and Tivoli Gardens. Perfect location if you are planning to travel by train in Copenhagen greater area. Rooms are clean but small - the bathroom is also small. Both are perfectly adequate if you are looking for a place to sleep/stay. Breakfast room was pleasant and clean....

Terrific stay. Good location, friendly staff, very clean and a great included continental breakfast served in their restaurant room at the back of the building. Fresh breads, fruit, cereals, juices and all sorts of cold meats, jams and pates for all tastes. We liked the electronic key less locks to our room. No worries about losing the room key as...

Dear L and M, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed the stay. I would love to do something about the room size but it is not possible unfortunately. But we do have various room sizes and categories that our guests can choose from in the process of booking. I hope you...

The staff here are most friendly - we were always greeted with a smile and some conversation - any request was dealt with immediately and we felt that the staff really wanted us to have an enjoyable time. We stayed for 7 nights in a family room. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. We had a great peaceful sleep...

I spent a week in Copenhagen and spent it at the Savoy Hotel. It is literally a 7-10 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The lobby is very pretty and modern with ipads and a computer for the use of the guests. The check in was smooth and simple. There is also a bar where...

Dear Kate11os, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed the stay and that you wish to recommend us. The drilling has stopped to our relief too. We have changed the internet setup, and should have a faster connection, and a more stabile one now. I hope to see you in Copenhagen some...

Stayed here as a couple during a long weekend. The hotel is located quite central in walking distance from the central station. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Bikes are available, internet is functioning well, breakfast buffet is nice… Rooms are nicely decorated. Everything is in good shape. Pleasure to stay there. If they really, really wanted to improve...

I thought this hotel was fantastic. The location was pretty handy for us, not too far from the train station to get to airport and close to great restaurants and within walking distance from most sights (thought some sights are a decent walk away, but we like to walk). The breakfast was excellent and overall the hotel was very comfortable....

We stayed at the Savoy hotel for one night before our Baltic cruise. The room was very small - if we wanted to pass one another one of use had to move up between the beds. The bathroom was tiny by any standards, the door opened against my bed which had to be pushed aside to allow the door to...

Stayed at the Savoy Hotel for one night, enjoying some time exploring Copenhagen. Great location, easy walk to City Hall (where you can take a free walking tour), Stroget (the pedestrian street with lots of food, music, and people-watching), a few blocks from Tivoli Gardens. Excellent customer service, delicious breakfast complete with live music, clean room with private bath. Would...

This was the perfect hotel for a city break. Walking distance from the station so easy for transfer from the airport and easy to get everywhere. Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
