Out of all the hostels iv stayed in this one tops it by far. Me and my husband had a private room with a ensure bathroom. It was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, TV in room and very peaceful nights sleep. We had breakfast at the hostel which wasn't to bad the only down side would be is...

If you bring your own meals and all you need is a simple bed to sleep in. Then this is arguably the best price to comfort ratio in Copenhagen. The staff are nice and accomodating. Beer and snacks are readily available at the counter and several coin-fed automats in the lobby. Some bland lagers from Carlsberg, but also excellent craftbeers...

Me and my wife got back to our room around 23:30. We turned on the TV and we're speaking about the concert we just came from when we heard knocking on the door. I jumped out of bed to open the door and it was some staff guy telling us to be quiet. Then he told us to turn off...

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed across the globe. Situated very near the airport and conveniently connected to the city center by bus. Very nice and spacious rooms and amazing dining facilities with very friendly staff. Breakfast is an excellent experience with nice interior and lots to eat. They have good luggage room and one...

We stayed in this hostel for two nights in a private room (4 beds). The rooms are comfortable and very quiet. The kitchen is nice, you can ask for the kitchen utensils in the reception. The hostel is far from the city center but there are good public transport options to reach city center, 5 minutes or less walking to...

Really was a pleasant experience. I stayed for 2 days in the womens dorm...the room was a bit too small for 5. The shared bathroom was super clean.Great price though! The single room was much better and really loved it. The kitchen was great and useful, some were cooking I only made light snacks or coffee. Laundry room looks great...

Stayed three nights at the Danhostel on a business trip. Just the pros and cons that I experienced: + Location: I found it convenient as there is a direct bus to my office; the metro station is also close by. However, as a tourist I would prefer to stay in the centre (which is, however, also much more expensive). +...

Stayed here in September for 3 nights. It is quite a large hostel although well run - sometimes reception could be quite busy although there is a take a numbered ticket machine which means you can go take a seat etc. Staff very helpful and friendly. We hired bikes for the day which were 129K each - you do have...

It is a cheap stay. Cheap compared to other places you find in Copenhagen. - it is pretty close to the metro station (10 minutes walk) - the rooms are clean, but have a bad smell - i think the carpet is to be blamed for that - you do not get bed sheets for free, but need to pay...

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
