Neighbourhood
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Super small rooms but well appointed and very clean. I slept great and the staff are helpful and friendly. Also excellent location. It really is small but for one person it’s totally fine. Good shower and good bed. Would stay again.

stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with my husband at the end of January. 1) Location. The hotel is right in the center of the city, very close to all the main attractions. We bought the Copenhagen 48h cards beforehand on the internet and received them at the airport on our

Everything was perfect! The room was very cozy and clean, just perfect place to sleep! It is obvious that these rooms are quite small, however, even the hotel name “Wake Up Copenhagen” means “wake up and go to explore Copenhagen! There is no time to spend in the room”. By the

The room had a new feel to it which was nice. The feel is like a ships cabin, the bed hits the wall on three side and the bathroom is very small. They seemed to have change the categories of room since I stayed but I did not stay in the cheapest room and it was still very small

Is there a hair dryer and coffee maker in the rooms?
No coffee, no tea maker; I think there’s a hair dryer. Shampoo/body wash combo dispenser is in the room but no hair conditioner and no other amenities. No facial tissue. Communal iron is in the basement. A single pillow for the single room. No safe in room but I think there’s a paid locker somewhere else in the building.
