Don't expect luxury at Slieve League Lodge, but it's an excellent place to stay. Our room was on the top floor; the furnishings were sparse, but the room was clean with a very nice bathroom -- looked like it might have been recently remodeled. The floors are hardwood with no rugs, and it would have been nice to have had...

Rooms are reasonable size & bathroom is fine. No desk or anywhere to place suitcase (apart from the floor). The main problem is that they have live music downstairs until the small hours of the morning. (Note that this is a pub - not a B&B.) You will definitely not get a good night's sleep. I note some good things...

Called in for lunch following a visit to 'Slieve League,' we weren't disappointed. Very pleasent staff greeted us, varied bar menu, we ordered a couple of 'beef stew with Guinness' served with mash & or chips, the stew was absolutely delicious, tender chunks of beef & plenty of it, sadly no room for puds! Would certainly recommend.

The rooms are as austere as the the surrounding nature. Very simple, with a double bed, no rug, and small bathroom with shower. We did have enough hot water in the shower which is a big plus. The heater was not turned on yet so I worried whether I'll be cold at night but the quilt on the bed kept...

There was good and bad about our stay. The hotel staff were great and helped us check in early and they had lots of local information. The lodge location is ideal for hikes and viewing Slieve League cliffs. Food in the downstairs pub was good and we enjoyed their breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. The bad news is...

I have eaten here on several occasions. The menu is great with lovely specials at reasonable prices. Decor is lovely and staff are really efficient. The band playing a few weeks ago were excellent. One meal I had here was off but excellent since.

The rooms are over the bar, and we checked in a little later in the afternoon so we needed to get settled by the bartender. At many of the other B&Bs we'd stayed at we were greeted with pots of tea and a bit of fussing, so at first we were a bit put off. But soon we adjusted and...

Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included. Location is perfect for touring the cliffs and nearby coastline. Rooms are clean, plenty of space. Great little pub downstairs, food goes down well, including the breakfast. Only downside was the pub across the road which was pretty noisy both nights.

I stayed once for one night and fount it to be very clean. There is a good atmosphere in the Bar and is welcoming on a wet windy day. The food in the Bar and Restaurant is very good and would recommend the Irish Stew or Fish. I have been several times for Drink and Food over the years and...
