What a lovely hotel! Nestled in the heart of beautiful Brunswick Square, it oozes with style and character, a far cry from the average Holiday Inn. I loved the comfy seats in the lounge, and the honesty bar is such a great idea. It’s just a stones throw from the beach, and

Dear JAMESMC2019, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a great review! We work hard to ensure our guests feel at home during their stay and will always try our best to make sure our guests have a good experience from an early check in to local recommendations etc. Your booking came to us through hotels.com and came in to our system as a twin bed request, sorry that it was not the double that you'd hoped for. Although we were fully booked on the first night of your stay, if you had mentioned this to our reception I'm sure we would've been able to relocate you to a double for your second night. We really hope you'll come back and please book direct with us so we can make sure you get the room you really want. Thank you once again for your very kind words. Kind regards, Trine and The Brunswick Team.

Great hotel. Location is ideal, being virtually on the seafront and not far from the pier and town centre. A small hotel with lots of charm and great staff. You could not ask for a better host than Trine. There was a great welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had a newly

There are various parking options for our guests. Brunswick Square itself is permit parking only, except for overnight between 8pm and 9am, when anyone is allowed to park. Keep in mind there is usually very high demand for these spaces. During the day it is permit only and traffic wardens are never too far away! We have negotiated complimentary weekend parking for hotel guests in the Norton Road multi-storey car park in Hove. This is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The address is Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BE - opposite Hove Town Hall. Places are first come, first served. You will need to supply us with your car registration details, so we suggest you drive directly to the hotel, drop your bags off, give us the car registration number and then proceed to the car park. If you wish to park there at other times the following charges apply: 1 hour £1.00 2 hours £2.00 4 hours £3.20 5 hours £4.20 9 hours £4.60 12 hours £6.00 The charging period is from 8am until 8pm daily. The complimentary period is from 8pm Friday until 8am Monday morning. There is parking along the seafront on a pay and display, first come first served basis. The rates are as follows: 1 hour £2.00 2 hours £4.20 4 hours £6.20 11 hours £10.40 The maximum stay is 11 hours, so the car will need to be moved after this time. Further back from the seafront you will find some on-street parking which is pay and display, the rates vary from one zone to another so the best option is always to check the street signs. There are various NCP car parks throughout Brighton, they are expensive. The closest multi storey is the Regency Square underground car park. The rates are as follows: 1 hour £2.00 2 hours £4.50 4 hours £9.00 9 hours £12.00 24 hours £18.00

Where is the best place to park? Prepared to pay more to be closer. John
Good morning John, we are one of the only hotels to offer free parking to our guests all weekend from 8pm Friday night to 9am Monday morning. Parking is free directly outside the hotel from 8pm to 9am every night of the week. There is pay and display or pay by phone or text a few yards from the hotel. Alternatively there are 2 multi storey's nearby - Norton Road Hove and Regency Square car parks. Norton road is 3 minutes drive away from the hotel and the cheaper option. Please let me know directly when you would like to book. We look forward to meeting you. Aoibhinn

Good afternoon EllieM288, many thanks for considering our hotel. No we do not have air conditioning but our windows do open fully unlike some modern hotels. Please don't hesitate to ask me any more questions that you may have. Warmest regards Aoibhinn

"go elsewhere"
"Room 106 has amazing space, sea views, lots of character"
"Just request a newly refurbished room, or a room on the front that overlooks the park, and the sea is adjacent to the that."
"The more expensive rooms have been modernised. There is no lift in this property."
"Check parking arrangements before you arrive. Issue with Brighton itself, not so much the hotel"
