This hotel is exceptionally central on the main street very close to the city square. First impressions are somewhat underwhelming - the rooms are high up (quiet) and the corridors are a bit dated. However, the breakfast is vast, varied and exceedingly good - local produce where possible, fresh orange juice, varied extensive buffet selection (even gran syrup (pine syrup...

We felt this hotel was a fun change from your standard hotel. The building is old and quirky. You have to lug your luggage up about 15 stairs to get to reception, then there is a lift to the other floors. The room was cozy and bright and it took you back in time. The location of the hotel is...

Stayed here right after christmas and the hotel didn't have any staff there during these days so checking in was made trough some sort of telephone service. Would have been great if the person on the phone knew what she did. She didn't sound like she had any idea of what she was doing and also gave us the code...

The room was old and shabby with a hole in the roof, but cozy and practic. The service is fantastic and the breakfast was very good and fresh. The hotel location were perfect in the shopping street. Me and my friend used earplugs at night because it was a bit noisy outside.

This is a nice little hotel, that has everything going for it, except for a couple of things that might matter to some. I may as well get them over with, and get on to the good things. The first disadvantage we noticed as soon as we got there, there is a long flight of stairs up to the reception,...

The hotel is in what seems to be a former apartment building in central Östersund. The rooms are fairly large and of good standard. The reception is separate from the rooms which probably explains why we paid up front for our one night. Staff was friendly and the breakfast very good, consisting of a number of local specialties apart from...

Stayed here during a motorcycle trip around Scandinavia. A great, old style hotel, that's old style decor but real old style service from really friendly, professional staff. Situated in the middle of the town on a pedestrian precinct actually but you can get close to it with car or bike. They have an agreement with a local firm to allow...

I don't think there are enough words in the English language to describe how absolutely wonderful this hotel is. I had read other reviews where others said that the hotel entrance was hard to find and this was absolutely untrue. I am a first time international traveler and I speak the bare minimum of Swedish and had no problem finding...

I really liked this accommodation, the hotel is funky friendly and quirky. They think of everything. The breakfast spread is fantastic, great coffee. Central location, warm rooms. The staff speak English and are helpful ambassadors of the town and local area.

There is no traffic noise, beds are good and you can expect a good night's sleep. The breakfast offers you a choice of local swedish food. All...
